Just open the speaker compartment and go to lead connection of the speaker the positive and negative. Resolder the lead contact of the speaker wire maybe it only loose connection. If happens the speaker is already busted then find a shop know how to rewind a speaker..

hope this may help;

How do i huck up my nine speakers

Take some time and either learn to spell or buy a spell check software. If you are truly serious about hooking up 9 speakers, you'll need a Constant-voltage speaker system which for the inexperienced, is quite a task to properly setup.

Quite front speakers

Check to see if there is a way to adjust the balance for the speakers or set individual volumes for each speaker.

I would get it assessed to see if the unit is worth repairing. There are Ic's and stand alone transistors that could add up when it comes to repairs.

Hello,
Thanks for the detailed explanation...
It seems to be there is a short or misplaced (+) (-) leads on the speaker connection you made..sometimes a tiny cable piece can make a short in between the leads and cause such problem..My recommendation is:
** take all the wires off..
** install only B speaker leads and test it..( make sure LEFT and RIGHT (+) and (-) leads properly
and individually connected to the right places on the back......it is important...This causes balancing problem..
** if it works fine...
** than go ahead and install the A speaker leads..and test it..
if you do everything properly both A and B speakers should work fine as independently ...

Take care and if it succeeds please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up

Hope this helps!

If new unit, don't waste your time, sounds like a faulty "Sound Card". possibly a slight hairline crack which only shows up when it warms up, yet after a few mins switched off, cools reconnects and so plays?

Sound coming from speakers is very quite. must

check your manual for a quiet mode, or reset factory defaults. it might be stuck in "attenuator" mode, where sound is muffled, in case you're answering a phone.
Good luck!

I got new speakers for my compaq presario 5000US series. how do i make them compatible with my system?

You should just have to plug them in. It should be as simple as that, There should be a "miniture stereo" jack from the speakers (usually coloured green). There should be an audio out jack on your compaq. Just plug it in.

If this is a laptop, there MAY be a setting in your control panel to redirect the audio to external speakers. Sheck your compaq owners manual.
