You are using a network sim that is not open to the phone you have inserted it in. For example orange sims will not work in 02 phones! Get a phone that is unlocked to the sim you are trying to use

My digi sim card nom:0163030949 puk code

Your Nokia device requests PIN (Personal Identification Number) and PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) codes to protect your SIM card and device against unauthorized use. Note that all PIN and PUK codes are provided by your network operator. Nokia is not able to provide you PIN or PUK codes.

Please take note of the following:

When your insert your SIM card and boot up your device for the first time, you need to enter the PIN code. For security reasons it is recommended to change it to your own code, instructions on how to change the PIN code in your device is provided in the user guide or Nokia web site. If the PIN code is entered incorrectly multiple times, your device may request a PUK code to futher validate the user's identity and to unlock and change the blocked PIN code.
The PIN2 code is a PIN code which acts as a second layer of protection for certain features of your phone. If the PIN2 code is entered incorrectly multiple times, your phone may request a PUK2 code.

If you have forgot or simply do not know the codes, you must contact your Network Operator for assistance. However, if you have already contacted but the code does not work, you should consider getting a new SIM card.

Nokia 5800 xpressmusic. i just recived this new phone from a friend because he bought a new phone. i put my sim-card in it it asks me for my simcard code. it accepts the simcard code but than it says...

I'm assuming your both on the same network? If your both tmobile customers or AT&T it should work without problems.

If not. The phone needs to be unlocked. to be used with another sim card from a different company.
And to do that. Your friend can call his carrier he bought the phone from, request an unlock code, then unlock it that way, and you'll be able to use it just fine.

Only if your on either Tmobile or AT&T. No other sim cards will work.

SOLUTION:

2.Else,the sim card is not registered(which displays the message "sim is not valid") and we have to call customer care and tell them to register your sim card.

SIM card not valid

Hi thee, I list here the possible reasons for "Sim card not valid"

1 - The phone is locked to a different network. In this case the phone usually accept the sim card the same , and has no network, but sometimes it may return the error message. Unlock the phone at a local shop.

2 - the SIM card is faulty. Test the card on a different phone to find out.

3 - The phone is faulty. Test the phone with different Sim cards, if the Phone returns same error on all cards, then the phone is faulty.

try to use the same line on diff phone that accepts your card, activate pin request to "ON" and make a call using this phone,
now take the sim to the 6680 and see if it works.
