Recently lost gun in water for a moment, Now scope gets fogged inside. Is there anything I can do to stop it? It a fairly new scope.

Your scope may not be hurt if water has not caused any rust yet. Things you will need, (1) hair drier, (2) Vaseline, (3) large clear plastic bag, (4) gas from a paint ball gun canister or similar type of inert gas you can use. Remove the eye piece, and shake as much water out as you can. Use the hair drier and heat the tube up, not too hot but warm, to dry the inside as good as you can, keep after it, shaking it and heating it. Once you feel all the water and moister are gone. Put a good amount of vaseline on the threads of the eye piece. The put the scope, the eye piece in the plastic bag. Use the paint ball gas and inflate the plastic bag, tie off the bag leaving room so you can screw the eye piece back on the main tube. Leave the scope in the bag for a few minutes before you do screw the eye piece on letting the gas fully get in the tube. The gas will give a bit of positive pressure inside the tube, Will displace any other air that will have moister in it. Keep the inside from fogging back up. The vaseline will help seal the gas inside. Hope this Helps Fix Ya up.

You will probably not find any spare parts for the scope, unless you will write or contact the manufacturer of the scope.
I do not recommend that you repair the scope yourself, as it has to be reinstalled properly and also most are nitrogen filled to stop fogging of the lenses.
Make sure you only use a scope that is designed for an air rifle, because the spring pushes and pulls the gun when it fires and it has to have the "air rifle" scope to handle the double recoil if not you will break the reticles of the regular gun scope.

Scope is fogging up and appears to not be clear. Tasco 3x16
Fog in the scope means moister inside. You can try and dry it out, take the rear lens off and using a hair drier heat the tube and the lens separate. Do not blow air inside it may damage the cross hairs. You can try and pressurize the tube so it will not happen again. You will need a large clear zip lock baggy the biggest you can find. Once your scope has been heated with the hair drier. Put the scope in the bag. and try to draw out all the air inside. You can use a Vacuum cleaner. if you get enough air out you can reinstall the adjustment lens on and the tube should stay in a vacuum for a season or two. You can also put vasiline on the threads to help seal the vacuum. You can also try to use gas, you can use gas from a paint ball gun cylinder to pressurize the scope. Put the scope in the bag pressurize the bag and reassemble the scope with the gas inside.

Recently hunting in the rain and scope became completely fogged up inside and will not clear
to be honest its only a cheap tasco scope and to get it fixed and re-gased wont be worth it, so you just as well have a go at it your self,, look at the scop tube and you will find a screw in the tube this is the re-gas port undo the screw and put the scop some were in a very warm place,,,dont cook it?
when its fully dryed out get some carbon dioxide gas (for blowing out cameras) and puff the gas into the scope to forse out any bamp air ,,,refit re-gas screw,,,,this may work till you get it wet again

Fogging up all time
You can try to clear this your self. You will need a good sized clear plastic bag, say kitchen trash can size. You will need to get your hands on some nitrogen gas or you can also use carbon dioxide - even try nitrous oxide it should be easy to find at a sports store for paint ball guns . You will need some good electrical contact grease or Vaseline will also work. Take the focus lens off your scope, let it sit and dry out. Now check for any o-rings and try to find new if you can, put the grease on the screw threads at the end of the scope. Put all the scope parts in the bag and pump up the bag with your nitrogen and tie off the bag but leave room so you can screw the lens back on once it has set for a little bit in the gas. This should let gas stay inside the scope so no moisture can get back inside to fog it up. Try that, sounds crazy but it will work.

My bushnel is fogging up in side of scope it is a banner 3-9x40 what to do?
if the scope is fogging up its leaking water into it, witch means its lost the "o" rings that seal this scope, dont try to fix it as it needs a full strip down and all the glass cleand then a re-seal and a re-gas,
to be honest all you could do it leave it in a warm place to dry out but as soon as you go out with the scope in the cold air it will frost up on you it may be a lot cheaper to just buy a new scope

Got moisture in scope and it is fogged up
take it into a camera shop, they will have the tool,, but if you undo the scope it will need to be regased again the "o"ring seals have worn out or broken and thats how water got into it,, it also let the nitrogen out of it,,,if its a cheepy scope buy a new one,,,
what i mean by a cheepy is less than £1000,,,,

Fogged up
What is happening is, when the scoped hunting firearm is stored inside the night before the hunt and its warm inside the house and when you go outside in the cold, the scope fogs up. Much like someone who wears glasses, when they are inside a warm house and they go out in the cold, their glasses fog up. The way to prevent this is to store the gun outside the night before the hunt where it's still secured but cool like the outside. Lock it in the trunk of your car or a locked tool box in your truck. In this way, the scoped hunting firearm will be about the same temperature as the cool outside air and it will not fog.

Scope fogged up on the inside and i cant see out of it. while hunting in the winter the scope fogged up. now that it is getting warm out it cleared up.
The gas inside the scope has leaked out. Moisture condenses in the cold weather and fogs up your optics when this happens. Send the scope to the manufacturer and they will warranty it. All scope manufacturers have real good competitive warranties. TP
