    well what a huge relief ! do i get some sort of freebie for that, my money back or a slap for not sorting it sooner.

Hi,

Uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver would help solve the issue BUT it would take so long. here are the things that i want you to follow exactly.

1. Click on start, then go to control panel;
2. Inside Control panel menu, look for Printers and faxes (XP OS) or Printers (for Vista OS);
3. Inside printers and faxes/printers, you will see you printer driver with pending documents to be printed;
4. Right CLICK the printer driver, then choose CANCEL ALL DOCUMENTS;
5. Then, press the F5 button on the top most part of your keyboard to refresh the application;
6. If you see still pending documents on the printer driver, cancel all again by right clicking the printer driver and choose cancel all documents;
7. Then, press again the F5 button (3 times) on the top most part of your keyboard to refresh all the applications;
8. CHeck of the printer icon has still pending documents, If none, go to the next step.
9. CLICK on start, then look for RUN program;
10. Inside RUN program box type in the word SERVICES.MSC to access the services menu;
11. Inside services, look for PRINT SPOOLER;
12. Right CLICK PRINT SPOOLER then choose RESTART;
13. After restarting the PRINT SPOOLER, try printing again.
14. That should SOLVE ALL YOUR PROBLEMS..

Please let me know the result following the steps.

If your IP address is different:
Continuing from the steps you followed previously:

  1. Click the Add Port... button.
  2. Select the Standard TCP/IP Port option and click New Port. The
    Welcome to the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Wizard appears.
  3. Click Next.
  4. In the Printer Name or IP address area enter the node name of the
    Brother device as it is printed on the network configuration page. An
    example node name could be: "BRN_34FDAA".
  5. As you enter the node name, the Port Name box will be automatically updated.
  6. Click the Next button.
  7. Click the Finish button.
  8. Click the Close button on the original Printer Ports screen.
  9. Click the Close button to return to the original properties screen.
  10. Click the Apply button and then the OK button.
  11. Now try to print a test page.
hope this may help;

regards,

Hello
I think you use wrong paper size when you print. try to change this in printer settings. to remove your printer job do this->

right click my computer-> manage->
computer management starts.
click on services and applications->
services and seek for "print spooler" stop the print spooler and unplug the printer. restart the computer and the jobs should be cleared.

    here is a easier solutions for the job problem

    1. Close all open Printers folders.

    2. Stop the Spooler service. run ->cmd type NET STOP SPOOLER at a command prompt. If you're using TCP/IP Printing Services, you'll need to stop that service as well.

    3. Open the %Winroot%\System32\SpoolPrinters directory (same in both operating systems). Make sure Explorer is set to view hidden and system files.

    4. Delete all *.SPL and *.SHD files in that
      directory that match the time/date stamp of the job you're trying to
      kill. If you're trying to purge everything, delete all files with those
      extensions.

    5. Close the Printers folder and restart the stopped services. You can restart the Spooler from the command line by typing NET START SPOOLER.

If you are using windows xp you can click on start, then control panel, then double click printers & faxes, and then double click the printer you are using. You will have a box with all the tasks that you sent the printer click on one of them Then click on document, then cancel, and then ok for are you sure. You can delete each of them one at a time. Once you clear this load up, you will probably have better luck finding your real problem.

First shut down your pc then on . then cancel all the pending documents . then its done .check whether all the connected wires are firmly connected. before you start your printing again.

After you install the driver check the wires and the control panel of your printer. it might be the problem. go to control panel and check the add hardware. see if its functioning correctly. hope that helps!

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your print head (the part which actually forms the print is inside the printer) a small amount of ink is used to act as a coolant (in the case of a thermal print head like yours) This prevents the print head from warping or fusing. Clean the print head. it will be OK

thanks
good luck

The colour on my Brother 135C Printer is not printing properley, could it be that the printer heads need aligning? If so how do I do that? Regards, David Melton

I have a brother MFC 3240C. My Black ink stopped printing(initially printed horizontal faded lines and gradually got worse), the other colors were printing fine. I tried cleaning numerous time( 50 -100 times over 1-2 weeks ). Still no improvement. The way I print now is:
1. I go to Printer Properties
2. Change Media type from "Plain Paper" to "Inkjet Paper".
3. Change Quality to "Photo".

This takes a long time to print 1-2 minutes per page. However, this works for me since this is my Home printer and use it for printing only few pages here are there.

Good Luck

This is a generic problem for many printers. Some printers print black by 4 catridges. Try this, or it will be better that you call service support.

Brother DCP-135C Print Quality Settings Not Working Correctly

Have you uninstalled the driver, and reinstalled it?

Are you running Windows Vista? If so, have you downloaded the latest software from Brother's website? www.brother.com

It sounds like the driver is confusing the settings internally, which leads me to think that it is either corrupt or not compatible with your operating system.
