Kitchenaid Superba KERC607 oven light bulb is out.

Try tightening it first clockwise just a little then undo it,sometimes you have to get a bit physical with these things! make sure the main switch/isolator is off, take out lamp, note type and replace.

Replacing element in the oven. Can you do it from the inside

On most ovens it is generally just a matter of undoing 2 screws inside the oven to release the element bracket. Wiring terminals can then be accessed. If it is fan forced and the element is surrounding the fan you will need to take the fan/element cover off. If the element is beneath the floor of the oven you will need to take the back off the oven to gain access.

My Maytag Gemini cooktop and top oven work. The bottom oven will not heat up past 100 degrees. What is the problem?

Replacing the ignitor is not difficult or dangerous. To get at it, you will first take out the racks. Then undo the box-like cover inside the bottom of the oven; the screws face front. Underneath that is a wing-shaped cover, held in place with wingnuts. Remove it.

The pipe that the gas comes out of heads straight back; the ignitor is just to the left. You'll be able to see the wires going out the back of the oven. Remove the plates that hold the tube/ignitor combination.

Once the pipe is free, then get your head out of the oven and pull out the oven so you can see, and get at, the back. On the lower left is a cover, about 12 x 15 or so, held in place by four screws. Remove it.

At this point you can see where the ignitor connects to the orange wires (at least mine are orange) with a plastic connection. Undo that connection.

Viola! You have removed the ignitor! Now, before you forget, make a diagram of everything you did. Put the screws in separate plastic baggies, with paper number tabs that correspond to your drawing. This will greatly help in putting everything back together.

Oven gas turns off

If your Wolf has pilot light, most cases dirty pilot light (flame looks yellow, normal flame looks blue), you have to disassemble the pilot light to clean it, thermocouple connection is loose, bad thermocouple or bad oven safety valve. you can try change the thermocouple first, if it did not solve the problem, then it will be bad oven safety valve. You can buy thermocouple thru Hardware store. Have fun.

Everything else works fine except oven won't light

If its a gas stove/oven and everything else is ok, then its the ignitor at the bottom of your oven. first Open your oven door alittle til its stops the first time then pull it up and out. that gives you freedom to work. then pull out the racks. Now you have two screws that hold down the cover of where the ignitor is, unscrew those and pull off the cover, you'll see the ignitor. Pull out the drawer at the bottom and you'll see where its connected, disconnect it and take it to an appliance parts store where you can order one. Take the new one and splice the original wires onto to the new ignitor( make sure to use the ceramic wire nuts) and reconnect it and there you have it. It'll take you alittle time so dont rush. I change them all the time, it takes me like 10-15 min. You dont have to turn off the breaker, just DONT turn the oven knob ON

Changing oven light bulb

The manual states to turn the cover counter clockwise. I was able to turn it about an inch and then it stopped turning. You really have to apply pressure, but it will turn more. It is similar to a tight light fixture. I was worried about breaking it, but it did finally loosen. I believe the replacement bulb is a 40 watt mini oven bulb also...

Hope this helps!

Oven light

There's a sprung steel retainer clip holding the cover in place. Use a small screwdriver to pry it downward, the clip will release and the cover can be pulled straight off.

Oven burner doesn't light

If memory serves me,there are a couple of screws on oven floor.Remove panel.Sounds like ignitor is the culprit. It feeds back to control. It may glow and light but unless it is sending full signal, gas valve will not open fully and oven will take forever to heat.
