For some reason using the product below I'm trying to get the internet on my intel satallite labtop and it doesn't seem to be working. I don't know if the connections are hooked up right, but I don't want to lose my internet connection on my pc if I unhooked them. I'm so confused.

try connecting with a cat5 cable instead of using the wireless. It is possible your problem is your wireless connection and not your service provider. Make sure your ether net connection is not disabled.
What has happened is that the proxy server on your last internet connection is in need of being redetected.
you will need to delete any old cookies and internet files, also check in the internet explorer tools>internet options>connection, that the the the last provider you used is trying to connect instead of sky, so either select never dial a connection or sky as your default connection.
Also check that in the properties of the belkin adapter that obtain an ip address automatically is checked in the TCP/IP properties.
You may also need to refresh your browser a few times before you get on the net.
A good temp file and reg cleaner, is Ccleaner, it's free and available at the link below
Yes there is NO reason why you can't. You must simply install the Printer Drivers on BOTH PC's.
Using the Software supplied, first Setup/Install the printer on your Desktop PC, FIRST, as a LOCAL printer.
Then 2nd, from ya lappy setup your printer as a "Networked" printer.. locate and connect.. the driver will install, & ya can then print a Test Page, to see if it is all OK.
After the Drivers are installed at BOTH locations you will be able to print from your laptop through your desktop to ya printer... no worries..
