Black Jack II volume

My phone has been working perfectly up until today, when no one could hear me. I could hear everyone else just fine. I've looked through all the settings, but can't find anything. Please help?

If your phone has gotten wet, thats the instant problem.

Extreme moisture may even ruin the microphone.
High winds as well.

Stupid to ask, but if you've recently blown into the speaker, that's not necessarily good for it.

MagicJack used to work fine. But now the other person can't hear me. Why?

You cannot use the magicjack in this way. The magicjack is used to enable the telephone to be used instead of the computer.

Plug in the magic jack device when the internet connection is working and it should download the software to make it work.

I cannot hear while making calls. The volume switch does not work either. When I make a call the other person can hear me but I cannot hear anything. The system sounds and ringer volume are turned up....

When making calls, try putting it on speaker phone.
This problem is widespread, and it is due to a problem where the phone does not recognize that the headphone jack has been unplugged. This means that the phone will send data to the headphone jack, and not to the speaker anymore. You can try to 'unstick' it by inserting and removing a jack until it recognizes it, or repeatedly blowing into the phone's headphone port. Both of these solutions have worked for me, but they take quite a bit of effort, so I have just gotten into the habit of using speakerphone. For me it still works, event when the phone is in headphone mode.

When I call people on my blackjack 2, I can hear the other person perfectly fine, but they either cannot hear me at all or they say it sounds like the volume is very low and they can hardly hear me. How do...

This happened to me and I called in ATT customer care and they told me to take it in. Something about software downloads could corrupt files that enable the device to work. Sounded like BS and it may be a faulty phone.

If there is no physical damage, warranty would be best. For AT&T Warranty the direct line is 800.801.1101.

Volume is non-existant on LG VX 4400

When you press vol up & down it will indicate "ringer ear jack." This means the phone is stuck in ear jack mode expecting a wired head phone accessory. Remove the battery then unscrew and pull out the antenna and the black plastic sleeve. Then remove the for small torx screws and carefully remove the back. Take a tooth pick to the back of the ear jack an bend the retainer pin back. Put everything back in reverse order and it should work fine.
