Can't access 3Com OfficeConnect Router browser

Hi,

In some reason I can't access the 3Com Office Connect Router browser (its works well for 2 years before).

I'm open a browser type http://192.168.1.1 and get a message: "cannot find server".

I wish to note that from a command line the following command: "telnet 192.168.1.1 80" works fine. And also that my computer (laptop) is recognize the Wireless network.

Please advice.

Thanks in advanced,
Moshe.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

3Com® OfficeConnect Cable/Dsl Wireless router not responding

Unless, you can try another computer to connect or there is a tiny (and I mean sometimes pinhole) reset button to push, it may have seen its last day. It has happenned to me and I picked up a little 35 dollar Belkin that worked great.

Configure VPN

That 3Com really doesn't have a wahy of setting up a VPN.
As per the 3Com site it:
Support of VPN termination/initiation and passthrough allows secure connection to central office and/or secure access from remote workers.
So it will allow 3rd party VPN setups to pass through, but it doesn't have the ability to create one.
You might want to look into something like a Netgear Firewall

3com router dmz doesnt allow to ssh to the asa

undo the dmz and forward the ports 22 for ssh and any other services you need to the cisco. Ok dmz is not good... 3com calls port forwarders virtual servers just add what you need there... hope that helps.
