Uninstall Words with Friends 2 and then clear the cache and any remnants of that game from your iPad. Then restart and install the game again.

I never played Words with Friends, so I don't know if it is designed to have audio (as audio background or to say words out loud ??). I know that you can chat via texting with the players you are connected with. Try to turn up the volume on your iPad.

Make sure you have the correct app for your Ipad.

Then delete the old app, and install this new one. (It might work better if you download to your desktop and copy to your pad.

If the game is on your iPad, delete it and then reinstall it.

I would suggest the following :

1) Turn the iPad off
2) Wait 10 seconds
3) Turn on the iPad
4) Delete the app
5) Reinstall the app

If the busy (whirl) indicator continues, chances are that you have an older iPad that will not play the latest apps. I have an iPad 1 and have seen similar problems.

Try resetting the iPad. Also, make sure you have an internet connection as it is internet-based.

Push and hold app until jiggliing with x.Tap x to delete from ipad.
