Posted the below problem of the 2004 Toyota Camry with miles around 197k now. The timing belt has never been changed. However, it is all high way miles and has been serviced every 3 months. Asking price is 6,500. Front right fog light needs to be changed and has a small dent on rear right fender.
Worth the money and chance with the timing belt?
If you buy this car, you should change the timing belt asap. Check Edmonds, and other internet sites for average prices, (197k miles brings the price down for sure, internet sites should give an amount to deduct for the miles) average for this year is around 70k). The fog light and small dent aren't big issues, but deduct the cost of timing belt change from prices you get on the internet. Good Luck coountrycurt0
