What does fuse look like?

So far so good. I have the pcb panel exposed. I don't see anything that looks like a fuse. Can you describe what I am looking for a little better? It seems that on the panel everything is kindof glued on... does that make sense?

The fuse is usually a glass tube (automotive type) but the board is covered in a thick clear goo to protect the components on the board from moisture. The board will have to be replaced if the fuse is bad.

I need to know what fuse is for the power side mirrors for a pontiac aztek

Without knowing the year of your Aztek, I can only take a stab with what I know about the 2001.
This vehicle has two fuse & relay centers, the first one is located in the engine compartment, on top of the windshield washer fluid reservoir (you don't want this one for the problem you described).
The second one is located inside the passenger area of the vehicle, behind the center console, to the right of the gear shift lever.
Locate the removable access panel and give it a good yank to expose the fuse panel.
3_27_2012_7_05_49_pm.gifNow locate and check the fuses in slots # 16 and 17 (one of these should be your culprit).
See diagram below.3_27_2012_7_14_38_pm.gif
After you have replaced the fuse (with a fuse of the same amperage) place the access panel onto the opening and give it a whack with the **** of you fist or a rubber mallet.

I hope this helps,Danno

Turning flasher dont work

You may want to expand and describe what you have looked at so far if anything, fuses, bulbs. It may very well be a blown fuse or the emergency flasher fuse needs replaced. If not, it may require replacing the turn signal indicator ring.

NOTE: This should only be done at a shop, since the airbag could be deployed accidently and cause injury. This job requires removing the steering wheel in order to replace the ring.

So go verify the fuses are good, and especially the Big Silver round one, That is the Emergency flasher fuse. Check your bulbs and connections. If not, then you know what your looking at. Depending on where in the country you are (or what country), as well as your vehicle, but this typically runs between 70 and 100 to replace that ring.

Good Luck and Happy Motoring

MY 2004 NISSAN MAXIMA V6 SL MODEL AIR CONDITIONING FAN IS NOT BLOWING AT ALL

In the owners manual it really says nothing as far as where the fuses are. I believe what you are looking for is a blown fuse or a bad blower motor relay but I would gues fuse. I'm not 100 percent sure but if you look at the pictures I posted below it looks like fuse number 10 & 11 control the blower motor or at least the circuit to it. Not sure which fuse box they are located in but if you look at how the layout is in the picture that should tell you. I'm sorry I don't have anything less technical to look at but that's about all I have as far as Nissan is concerned. This is the stuff I use at my shop. Anyhow, start by checking the fuses for the blower motor and work on from there. If you need any wiring diagrams or pretty much anything for your vehicle, feel free to email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with what you need and I will be happy to send what I have. I hope this helps you and good luck.

Signal and brake lights work but no taillights of dodge caravan fuses under hood seem good . bulbs good 2007 grand caravan sto n go. are there any fuses other than under hood?

Your owners manual should tell you, but look under drivers side dash as well, for a black panel that you undo , and drop down to expose another fuse panel.

Not working at all

Hello :

Maybe there's a problem with the power transformer or the power PCB . Or it could be just a fuse . You need to check first . If it's the fuse , then that will be easy to solve , you need only to replace it with new one . But if the problem is with the transformer or with the PCB , you need to take your microwave to the service for repairing .

good luck .

The hotwire to the lights touched the frame and sparked. The micro completely shutdown, no power at all, is there a fuse or something?

Yes.

There is an internal fuse in a ceramic holder towards the top of the oven, however a direct short as described could also have taken out one of the micro-fuses on the PCB panel as well.

If you know how to discharge the capactor and ground it before poking around, check the continuity of the main fuse in it's ceramic holder. If that is OK then unfortunately the PCB may require replacement.

Will not power on

Is this monitor supplied from AC outlet straight or through AC-adapter? If through adapter check the voltage on DC connector. If straight, then you need to open monitor and check fuse, located on the power supply PCB, carefully, don't get electrocuted, because in some models the large capacitor in the switching power supply may hold the charge for long time.
If fuse is ok, take a look over all electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board, are there any of them blown or even just little bit rounded on top? If yes, replace them with proper ones. Also take a look at solder side of PCB and carefully check if there are some cracked junctions, especially at power diodes, heat-sinked transistors, power resistors and pulse transformer - as far as these parts are heating more than others. Described steps can troubleshoot half of all problems in LCD monitors.

Tv got wet i thought i dried it , when i turned it on it made pop

It probably has blown a fuse, and you will be fortunate if that's all the damage.

The EHT circuits are very susceptible to breakdown if any moisture is present.

You must dry it out as soon as possible - half a day left wet is too much.
Use dry compressed air to thoroughly blown any moisture from the pcb and all other components.
pay particular attention to where moisture might be retained - such as under components mounted on the PCB.
All moisture must be removed, otherwise a combination of corrosion and electrolysis will cause electrical leakage between components and/or eat the pcb tracks and any other exposed copper.
Look for any obvious signs of carbon tracking damage.
After dry out, replace any blown fuses and try again.

If it has been left wet for some time (days) it will most likely be unrepairable.

Good luck!

Can anyone tell me where the fusebox is for the 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue.

fastboyz is correct. There are two fuse panels. One in the engine area near the battery as he describes. The other one is on the passenger side at the end of the dash board. You have to open the passenger door. If you look at the dash board you will see a panel box cover built-in to the dash. The cover fits the contour shape of the dash. Pull on the cover and that will expose the fuses.
