Evening to you Allow the washer to start a cycle and have the dispenser drawer ajar and observe through which dispenser the water goes. Does the first stream go through the pre-wash dispencer,secondly notice where the main stream goes and lastly where the softener would go. If this can help you in any way just put use the dispencers as fits the washing. goodluck Kolbrun
I want you to run an empty load, pour 3-4 cups of white vinager into the soap dispencer, this will flush out detergent buildup, it sounds like the unit has a buildup of soap and is oversudsing, the vinager wash will stop it from happening, if this stops the problem cut the amount of soap you are using in 1/2. If it does not let me know, good luck
Check if the dish rack is reversed. If it is, it'll block the dispenser from opening. If that is not the case - you may have problems with soap dispencer solenoid or with control board. Unplug the d/w. Disassemble the door, and find the solenoid contacts on the dispenser. Check for continuity. No continuity - replace dispenser.If dispenser is ok, check wiring for continuity. Otherwise it's the board.

A sock was in between the two tubs blocking the water going tnto the main tub. This caused the water to backup and overflow in the soap dispencer..and all over the floor I then put my hand in between the two tubs and pulled the sock out. Thanks to the expert group for giving me this solution.

the fabric softner drains or flushs down in the rinse cycles,,,now if you fill past the line or open in dispencer it will sphion down by it self,,in short your overfilling dispencers,,onthejob
Yes on the dispenser door there is a magnetic switch that looks like a thin black cylinder similar to a short pen . About 1 1/12 long. It may have been dislodged. Make sure the dispenser door is closing all the way.
