Filled catridge with ink now won't work

Hi,
I have a HP 1290. Today I filled my inkjet cartridge with black ink and now the printer cannot detect that there is more ink in the printer. What can I do to fix the problem?

Thanks!

remove all the cartridges. using tissue or cotton cloth.. dub the connectors to the cartridge of the printer.. then wipe the cartridge connector area dry. if this does not work, you need new cartridges. with new cartridges and the same problem persist, your printer has the problem on the in decoder strip. area. hope to be of help.

My printer model is HP Deskjet F4288 All in one printer. Recently i ve brought new Color catridge and re filled Black and white catridge today but still it is showing not able to take print out.

OK, HP recommends that new HP cartridges be used rather than refilling. I've had better results with new cartridges that are name brand than trying to refill to save money.

Error Message on screen

Hi,

Check two things

1. Ink in your catridge

2. Check whether the catridge has been proprely inserted because some movement to the printer may cause the catridge postion to be misplaced

Hope your problem got solved

Reset ink level on hp 6310 #98 cartridge I have been using refilled cartridges and the in level is ''empty'' even when the cartridge is new and just filled. how can I reset the ink level?

if you are using a refilled catridge you would not get ink levels right.
if you want right ink level use genuine ink catridges.
you can try taking out the catridges turning off the printer and turning it back on and then reinstalling the catridges.it might not help so if possible buy hp ink catridges.

Use of 852 and 855 cartridge in hp 6210 officejet printer

This quite often happens with CLONE cartridges and happens very infrequent with original cartridges.

The cause is the ink level chip used in clones is quite often a very cheap chinese copy and very prone to failure or misalignment

Either way take them back and get them changed is my advice

I changed my black ink and now i get the message left cartridge incorrect..how do i fix it?

HP PSC 2210 InkJet Printer. The following has to be done for checking the Blank Ink Catridge working : 01. Remove the existing Black catridge and Color Catridges from the Printer carefully. 02. Clean the location with a soft cloth with cleaning liquid to make the place dust free. 03. Put the correct black and colour cartridges recommended by HP and that too genuine one. 04. Do not use any refilled or reinked local catridges that will spoil the HP PSC 2210 printer. 05. Re-install the catridges both Black and Colour properly. 06. Take a test print out - both black and colour print outs. 07. Check the Printer status and there is no warning of Cartridges wrongly inserted. Have a Good day.

Installing print cartridges

refilling catridges is not advisable it is better always go for new one .bcoz the ink which is used for refilling it is not good which is damaged the print head and the the catridge nozzle . i will advise you to buy a new actridge and install . bye
