Zen my zen was working fine last night. This morning when I connected it to my laptop, and attempted to browse media, it says there are no files. The player is playing fine, but the computer just doesn't recognize that there are any files on the zen?

You may need to do a format on your Zen. It sounds like the file system is corrupt. For more detailed instructions on how to troubleshoot your Zen, click here

Creative Zen M:vision - can't turn on/off, permanent blue light

Well, i didn't charge mine over night, was listening to it in the evening while doing some chores and all of a sudden it stopped playing, Blank screen and permanent Blue light. I tried to turn if off but it didn't respond so i left it. In the morning, it went off itself (guess the battery was low). So i connected to the computer and inserted the ZEN CD. As i was exploring the CD looking for a solution, then all of a sudden the screen came up with a note "Rebuilding..." after 5 secs it came on. With all my files intact! I hope this wud be helpful, You could give it a shot, after all there's nothing to loose!

I have a Creative Zen V plus. It has worked fine

Try to switch it ON when it is connected with USB or charger. If it turns ON then batteries require replacement.

Can't transfer files to my Zen!

Some portable medias such as mp3's and mp4's run applications to transfer files to and from your PC.

If your using a desktop computer... connect your zen to the cpu... you should get some sort of notification of the connection.

Then, got to my computer and locate the zen as a drive. Drives are things such as your local hard disk, floppy, or DVD and is preceded by a letter such as (C:) or (A:).

The Zen should show up as a removable disk and have a preceding letter of the latest found drive.

If you want to add music and such to it... select the discovered zen drive, right-click, and select explore.

This will show all the unhidden content of your zen. Place the file(s) you want on or off the zen.
Music files should be placed according to the folder which would be labeled music... ect...

If this doesn't help please notify me of the problem... ^^ thanxx

Creative zen m series no charge

i was trying to charge my zen on a cpu at work that did NOT have the zen installation disc installed on it. the lightning bolt over my battery sign indicated my zen should have been charging, however it did not. later that night i plugged my zen into my own laptop at home, the one that i installed my zen to in the first place, and it worked fine.

Zen frozen on one screen even after I've restarted it.

hard drive sounds bad. has it been dropped?
try to do a cleanup
  1. Detach the Zen player from your PC , and ensure that the Zen Sleek is turned off.
2. Connect the power supply to the player.
3. Hold down the Play/Pause button while inserting a paper clip into the Reset hole
underneath your player, beside the data/power connector. Keep on holding the
Play/Pause button while you release the Reset button. The Rescue Mode screen will
then appear.
4. After the recovery mode has started, release the Play/Pause button

It will display the following options.
Clean Up Scans the player and removes invalid links from its music library.
Does not affect music files themselves.
Format (All) Caution! Erases all content!
Save a copy of your player's content before formatting.
Reload OS/ Firmware Caution! Erases your player's firmware.
DO NOT select the Reload Firmware option unless you have access to a PC and you have downloaded the necessary firmware to install.
Reboot Reboots the device.

My zen won't charge!!

Some USB ports are not powered. I've had problems on certain computers with it working/charging correctly. Laptops especially. Car charger works great everytime. Go figure. Some PC's may have an older version of WMP on it, which somehow gum's up the detection processes. Make sure the PC has WMP 11, and the drivers you need/Creative software on it.
