What do i do when it says to ventilate - Saeco V-spresso Espresso Machine

For some reason, people don't think too often about how dirty the ventilation system is, even though it is essentially the air they breathe indoors. I think it is very important to at least sometimes do Ventilation smoke test, and also contact experienced specialists who can quickly and efficiently clean the ventilation. If you open the steam knob and only can get a half cup of water, then your flow meter in the machine have to be replaced.

If you need to replace the flow meter then it has spare part number: 286473300

Make sure to descale your machine often.

Usually you grasp it an pull it out.

Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve Removal & Installation To Remove:
PCV Valve location (3.3L & 3.8L engines shown, 2.4L similar)

1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the positive crankcase ventilation (PVC) valve.
2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation valve from the valve cover.

To Install:

1. Install the positive crankcase ventilation valve in the valve cover.
2. Connect the vacuum hose to the positive crankcase ventilation valve.

Press the hot water button and allow water to flow from the steam arm until ventilate disappears and warming up appears on the display.
Ventilate after descale is normal.

There is a water button you need to push. It has a water drop on it. This will clear the ventilate message.

When it says to ventilate, it is asking you to prime the pump. Put acup under the panarello wand ( the steamer/frother) to catch thedischarged water and press the hot water button (upper left button onmy machine). Wait until air stops coming out with the water, usually3-5 ounces, and then press the hot water button again.

You machine is now ventilated (primed) and should be ready to go.

I want to close the ventilation system because in a daily bases I'm passing an area where the smell is very bad, and it pass through the ventilation even if it is closed, this is because it is actually not closing since there is a loose in the rubber of the ventilation window.

I'd like to close it for good.

regarding the disadvantage, I live in the middle east where there is no freezing wheather. and when I want to ventilate the car, I need just to open the car windows!

how to get the MAP of the ventilation system of my CAMRY 1999 GLi, so I know what to do?

The problem was in ventilator valve resistor, located below glow box, near ventilator. A transistor replacement did the job!

turn the hot water / steam knob on to 'ventilate' the pressure from the machine. The ventilate /overtemperature message will disappear when ready (few seconds usually)
