You don't need an installation CD.

If the default password has been changed then -
To reset the D-Link back to the default settings -
Press and hold the RESET button at the back of the router with the power ONuntil the LEDs flash at the time the release the RESET button.
Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to your laptop/computer's LAN port, openthe browser on your laptop/computer and enter the D-Link's configuration URL..
http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = blank (just press Enter) You can now change the default password.
You can now configure the wireless settings. Now configure the wireless card in your computer/laptop withthe router's wireless settings. You don't - you reset the router with the button at the rear and you login into it using the default one (admin) and do all the setting again as explained here

Hi, I need a install.cd for d-link 524. Were can i find it and download?

If there is an install CD it is not needed. These devices are managed using your computer's web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox). Everything you need to know about this process is here:

you can access your router with fllowing link

http://192.168.1.1 or
http://192.168.0.1
type user name as "admin" and passowd aslo "admin" or blank

then go to wi fi internet and check wep key it is your password

Di-524 setup

Reset the DI-524 to its factory default settings and restore the other devices on your network to their default settings. You may do this by pressing the Reset button on the back of the unit. You will lose the current configuration settings. Also be sure to unplug the modem the plug it back in afterwards, a reboot of all devices on network maybe good idea also.
