    You need to replace the convergence ICs there are two of them Both STK392-120 and you will also need some 6.8 ohm 1watt resistors. There is a kit called Phillips DPTV 305-345 convergence repair kit available at the following link. which contains both convergence ICs and all 12 6.8 ohm 1watt resistors with free instalation instructions with pictures.

    Heres the link.

If the TV menu displays your problem is most likely not the Tv , but is caused by the signal source:
Cable box or connections. Reboot everything test using other sources like a DVD player to isolate the problem.

Our Phillips flat screen TV picture is split down the middle vertically. One side shows a mirror image of the other side, and then sometimes one side is a lighter shade than the other, when it is full...

This may be due to a faulty Timing Control board (TCON board). I had a similar problem with my Samsung LCD TV picture being split vertically down the middle. The image on both halves appeared fuzzy and in reverse (mirror) including the menus. I replaced the TCON board and the problem was resolved.

Showing double picture with a green glow

Good Day, pklove;
Green glow and double picture? Sounds like you may own a Phillips/Magnavox. If you do the TV has an convergence problem and a picture tube fluid problem.
I would say that you should call an Authorized Service Center to come to your home and give an estimate before any service is rendered.

Good Luck, big IRISH.
