Try first to plug the dishwasher on a different power outlet just to check that this is not a problem with the power outlet where its plug in if still no power this can be a problem with the power cord or the power supply unit of this dishwasher and needs a replacement...

Hope that helps.........

There is a fuse on power unit, that should be tested first, check also a different outlet.

Here is service manual for a similar model, usually the fuse should be on pcb behind power button. Remove also base cover and harness and hose assembly and check wiring connections (pg 21).

You need to test the fuse for continuity using a multimeter tester, if
the multimeter returns infinite impedance then fuse is blown and must
be replaced, the fuse is not normally glued, but after a short some
contact may have melt down and now fuse is soldered. If this is the
case, fuse must be unsoldered and replaced.

See if you can publish here a photo of the fuse, this can help us to tell you how to replace it.

Some of the LG LDS5811 had problems with the wiring harness in the door panel. This is nothing to mess with unless you have disconnected the DW from power.
You can open the door panel by removing the screws around the inside edge of the DW. Or, better yet, firmly but politely contact LG service and tell them you are aware of LDS5811 dishwashers having these symptoms being caused by _melting_ wires in inside the door panel. This is true and even if the DW is out of warranty, LG should fix this problem at no cost to you.
Good Luck!

LG Dishwasher LDS5811bb. Water is leaking out

The dishwasher may not be levle side to side and front to back.
Se the installation instructions or go www.lgusa.com
they may have the instructions on line.

This will cause leakage at the door.

If the leak is @ the bottom left it may be from the drying vent assembly.
The vent would need to be replaced with an updated vent assy.

LG dishwasher won't dry

Recommend you confirm that the rinse aid is not empty.
If problem persists and you are not getting an error message, contact LG service and pres them for the retrofit they released for the LDS5811 (and other models) that dramaticly enhances the drying ability. Until it is replaced, be careful because it is possible tht water will leak from the door panel (not directly from inside the diswasher, but through the door panel-based drying system.
Press them for a no charge repair for this problem and be persistant, firm but polite. If the agent is not helpful on their own, request to be "escalated" to his/her manager. Good Luck! and report back what you find. Thanks!

Era codes

The PF code means that there is a power problem with your unit. Make sure that you're not having issues with your outlet.  Check the connection at the junction box to make sure they're good and tight.  If both of those check out ok, open the front panel of the dishwasher and check the wiring harness there.  About 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the door, inspect the wire harness for any signs of cracks or breaks in the wire.  Repair the damaged wires and that should take care of your PF issues.
