Power locks do not work on 2 door '97 ex model. Dont even make the sound.

All fuses are good. It doesnt have the orginal radio. Do you think that could be the problem? Ive only heard that the radio only affects the keyless entry though.

Did the problem start when the radio was changed?

Do you still have the stock radio?

When I wanted a new radio in my '98 EX I left the old one behind the dash and put the new one in front to maintain the remote locks. Some simple wire splicing supplies power to both.
I've been diving it like this for over 6 years now.
Maybe you could do the same...

I have 97 souvreign and when opening doors just driver door and one one back doors open and other two doors not opening even by pulling handle manually does not open..

If they're power locks your door lock actuators might be faulty. If you push the button and it sounds like its opening or you manually unlock the doors and they still won't open, that would be my first guess. The motors might be getting weak and not have enough oomph to actually move. If it's manual locks, the locking mechanism could be messed up inside and is sitting in the lock position and won't move no matter what or the rod came off either way it will be Tricky getting the door panel off with the doors closed :)

Driver side door lock jammed on 2004 jeep grand cherokee

the key dont work or just the fob?????????????
did you try both fobs?
car came with 2 fobs try both. ?
if both fobs fail, bad solenoid, if metal key works.

if metal dont work, the lock is frozen with ICE, got ICE?(hair dryer fixes it)
no ice ?,then lube the lock with graphite, lube. if key fails.
if key dont fail and you get 12v to solenoid, then the solenoid is bad
I just replaced one that had 1/2 power (the guts inside sol were bad)
$100 part. too.

I drive a '97 Honda Accord. Lately, my power locks have been making a loud, drawn out grinding sound when I lock them. What could be the cause of this?

The door lock actuator in the door that is making the sound is starting to fail. Replace the lock actuator for that door will help.

I have a 2003 honda accord ex 4 door auto 4 cylinder. my problem is that the bat. on the remote control went dead now after i replaced the bat. with a new one it does not work? the light on the remote...

ok bare with me read carefully you need to program the new transmitter to your car.
1 turn igntion switch on (ii)second position
2 within 1 to 4 secs press the transmitter lock or unlock button with amied at the keyless receiver in the power master switch
3 repeat steps 1 and 2 3 times
7 confirm you hear the sound of door lock actuators working then press press lock or unlock button again or code won't be stored
8 within 10secs if you have other transmitters press unlock of each one
each time the doors locks and unlocks with operate 9 turn off ignition then there you go try them out

I have 97 honda accord 4 door. electric locks

Sounds like a sticking switch ( actuator ) in the door.
Pull off the door panel and , looking inside the door, follow the rod from the key to the actuator .
Clean the actuator and make sure it works freely before re assembly.
