Question about Broan-NuTone VX475 Bagged Central System Vacuum
During operation vacuum shuts off. after motor cools down it begins to work.
I finally solved the mystery. I adjusted the variable air intake relief valve (install just before unit-open in the event of a clogg to prevent motor burnout) By watching the valve when unit is being used, you can see that the system needs more air to operate, otherwise it drives up the amperage draw on the breaker and trips it. Just set the adjustable spring loaded valve so it can actuate up and down during normal use (you should hear air all of the time from the valve). Picture a big vac motor pulling air through a straw. It doesnt like it and needs more air while you are vacuuming. Happy as heck to fix this damn thing:)
