Question about Whirlpool LER5636P Electric Dryer
I just put a new belt on. something is hanging it up.

Your dryer belt is broken. I just had the same exact problem. You need to replace the belt.

If u can turn the drum by hand than more than likly the belt is bad or there may be somthing stuck in the edge of the drum ie kids toys ect ect or the motor for the drum has failed unplug the unit if you can take off the rear cover you should be able to see the belt that goes around the drum or you should see the motor for the drum check to see if the belt for the drum in inplace if not get a new belt and if the motor can turn by hand buit it wont turn the drum check to see idf there is a red button to reset the motor if not than the motor is probably bad check to see if you still have a warranty good luck keep me posted best regards mike
