Question about Acer Aspire 5520-5908 Notebook

I have a problem with my sound

I uninstalled the sound drivers and reinstall and the sound is still low ,even when i turn the volume all the way. Is there a defect in the sound cards on some of these machine?

If playing a DVD unfortunately VISTA limits teh sound ... sucky i know.

Have you installed the correct driver? , because Vista uses Realtek HD Audio and XP uses Standard Realtek Audio, also right click on the speaker icon>audio properties and make sure that speaker volume is set to the correct speakers and not headphones or somethong else

Sound 2 low (although all at full setting) to watch anything or hear music. yes hav reinstalled drivers even reformatted hard drive still cant hear!!!


if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this
right click to install driver also
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there

click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer

I cannot hear anything on the built-in speaker ( internal speaker ) even if the volume indicator is at its maximum level.


I THINK IT IS THE PROBLEM WITH YOUR SOUND DRIVES .SO UNINSTALL THE DRIVERS FIRST AND REINSTAL THE SOUND DRIVERS .

Hi! i need to have an audio to my dell laptop. how can i do that?


check if the speaker is mute or in very low volume. check if correct device is selected for sound. check if sound card is detected in device manager - if ahve driver problem, uninstall and reinstall sound driver

Myproblem si that my speakers wont work ichecked


you may have to reinstall your sound drivers , if you have the drivers(resource disk) then uninstall the sound drivers restart the pc and reinstall them when prompted

HP Pavillion dv 8000 no sound


check the volumes on sound driver.., also check maybe the master is muted ...if any of these won't work ..check wave volume also ...or reinstall the sound driver ....
look that when you double click the volume in trey system ( bottom right ) you get the full volume manager ..
if those would not fix the issue...uninstall the sound driver and reinstall it ..I assume you have the installation cd ..or the driver on disposal

Hi there... You can reinstall the sound. First uninstall the driver then reboot then install it...
