Please check your bassinet for recall at this link. You can also check with Walmart by
calling the local store and have them lookup your model and date of manufacture. http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml08/08381.html
The canopy has to be washed in the sink. The rivets dont come off. Air dry should work.
You cant if it is riveted. try this. Many bassinets have rivets that dont allow you to remove the fabric. We draw water in the washer and add soap then drop one end in and work it around until it is in the washer. Use gentle cycle and cross your fingers that no damage is done. I have washed many of them and never destroyed one. Good luck
its says on the kolcraft web site on the instructions u cant take the top part off u have to hand wash it in the sink or tub i also had that same problem because it was giving to me from a family member and have some spots on it but i doesnt come off sorry
Hello I too have this bassinet and went looking online for a 'how to' on removing to wash. What I found was the manual, I will post the link below. In the manual it does say that the fabric cannot be removed from the canopy frame.
you have to either turn off your pop up blocker for this manual or hold down "control" when clicking the link for it
