Hello

You may need to replace the video card.but this can be due to a fan failure. this sounds like something is overheating, but you probably have to get a new card.

I was told the video card is part of the motherboard, this is why they keep replacing the motherboard.

When I installed graphics driver in my hp4430s, I can not play video It always blink

it's a probook right? why not post full service tag data??
its only 7 years old.
It came new with Linux or windows (a fact and options)
it came with windows
XP, vista, w7 or w8 or 8.1 in 32bit or 64bit versions
9 version of windows, during this long run production of PC.

well obvious is you have the wrong driver !! a fact.
and i guess you lost the HP install disk for you PC?
you posted with NO OS stated, is this stinking XP?

when i install, from what for what/??
where did you get the driver, and for what GPU ?

now the answer,
go to HP get the correct matching driver.
the corrected driver must match>
  1. Your HP PC exactly
  2. your unstated OS
  3. 32bit or 64bit
  4. and your exact GPU inside, my guess intel>?
be wise to run only w7 and newer.
this PC came (opted) with 2 GPU , no not at same time.
its and options, if you had told your service tag data
id have told you what it had day 1 new.

intel GPU
or
ATI GPU.
click graphics (w7-64bit) im guessing this is your OS. (silly of me to try but this is and example.

learn that HP still supports this PC
learn that some PC have 3 GPU options (1 series)
learn that 4 audio chips and 5 or more network chips used

and the service tag ? nnnnnnnnABA# tells me what you have inside and nothing else.

My hp pavilion g7 series laptop is messing up? it says my ati display driver keeps messing up.

1.Start the laptop up in safe mode with networking by pressing the f8 button while switching it on at the power switch.
2 Once in safe mode remove the ati drivers.
3. Download Eusing free registry cleaner install it and clean your registry.
4. Download new drivers from Ati and install them.
hopefully this should do the trick. if the problem still exist then it could be a sign that your graphic chip is failing,.

I have issues with the second ATI FirePro V7800 card. I am running Window 7 pro - 64 bit. The motherboard is ASUS Sabertooth X58. Intel Corei7. Corsair 24 GB. Both two cards were working fine...

In order to further troubleshoot this issue, I would recommend the following:

Uninstall the ATI drivers from your computer.
Shut down the computer.
Remove the ATI card from your computer, and connect your monitor to the onboard video adapter.
Turn on the computer.
Ensure the ATI software was infact removed.
Shut down the computer
Reinstall the ATI video Card
Turn On the computer
Reinstall the ATI drivers ensuring to select the proper "CrossFire" configuration

Hp pavilion 9000 gets scrambled screen and fails to start, scrambled screens occour when tabbing out of a game or wakeing from sleep

Sounds like a driver problem. Make sure you have all the updates. If the problem started after a recent update, a driver rollback may be needed.

If it is not the driver, then it might be a setting in the way your laptop handles video. Go into your ATI or nvidia setting under control panel. Review all of your setting and make sure nothing unusual is set, or find a 'restore to defaults' button if it has one.

Hi there.
Your graphics controllers are supplied by ATI and is Radeon IGP-340M (RS200M)
Unfortunately there is no Vista driver available for that HP laptop, even ATI don't supply a Vista driver for that model, it only has support for XP.

Vista will not shut down, hibernate or sleep

It had to be sent in for service. Best Buy said it was a hardware issue after their diagnostics came up with nothing.

Basically it would act like it was shutting down, hibernating or whatever and about 15-20 seconds later, it would re-boot or resume windows.
