We ended up throwing it away. No one services it in small shops in my area. To take it to a shop that send it out would cost almost the same as buying a new one. The speakers were fine, tried them on another system. Seems like alot of people have had the same problem with this system, as i looked it up on the internet.I just happen to buy a lemon i guess. Thanks for the help.

As i looked this system up on the internet, seems like a lot of people had the same problem. No solutions were noted. We threw it away. No small service places in the area. I was told i would have to send it out through Radio Shack, it would cost almost the same as a new unit. I know it was not the speakers, they worked fine with another unit, that is the only thing i know for sure.I know better than buy that brand again. Thanks for the suggestions.

How do i connect a technicsl7 record player to a technic casseset deck rs 63ousd

It needs to go to a receiver or integrated amp for a Phono preamp first then the record outs of the preamp or receiver will go to the tape deck at line level (-10 dBm) signals. These go into the line in RCA jacks.

5 disc cd player am/fm tape stereo will not work at all

Start with the power plug. Is it wired up right? Is the fuse OK? If you still have no power then the internal fuse might have gone. If you are any good at opening the thing up, just follow the mains cable in to find the fuse. Otherwise take up to the repair shop.

These are driven by a small belt that has either fallen off or broken. Very simple to replace.

I have a rs-tr 180 that's pulling the tape out of the housing is there a solution?

The tape player recorder that pull the tape out could have the following faults: 1) It has a separate belt from the motor/capstan to the take=up turntable. 2) Capstan roller skew the gap when you bring the mechanism in can be checked and it must be PARALLEL with the surface of each other.3) Faulty cassettes they are binding in their housing due to heat or bad manufacture! Try to rewind and wind your cassette end to end both directions. 4) head alignment not set correctly 5) clutch of take up reel worn or has a bad tension spring. depending how it was made.

Tape shows playing but no sound

Is sound at the headphone socket?
Does the meter show audio output?
If the answer is yes to these questions check that the connections to the amp are correct and the amp is set up is ok.

RS 2620 has power but I do get any sound

If you are not familiar with electronic circuitry, I would strongly suggest you did not try to service the unit yourself. There are many circuit functions that need to be tracked and evaluated, any one of which could be the problem or one of the problems.
Please consider taking unit to to serviced
