Hi , i have anapex digitrex 3.2 mega pixel digital camera and i cant get my picture off the camera on to the computer but i dont have an memory card please help me

I do not complete understand what you want. My fuss is, you want every picture to be about 1 MB on your memory card. I do strongly advice against this, but you own the camera and so it be. You always can make pictures with a smaller resolution from high quality pictures, but never the other way around. You better shoot highest quality on your camera and later wham the pictures are on your computer down size the ones that are less important to 1 MB.
But you can choose 5 mega pixels with normal compression or 3 mega pixels with fine compression or 2 mega pixels with super fine compression. All these pictures will look fine in an e-mail, or on the net. Even a 6 by 4 inch picture will look fine. Memory cards will cost like 1 dollar pro Gbyte, so my advice is buy a few 8 or 16 Gb cards and shoot in high def.

Turn down the picture quality and it will require less memory
Example 10 mega pixel camera
change it from 10 Mega pixel to 5 mega pixel

Dont you worry about that! Its normal specialy if you are using the higher mega pixel of your camera.

For you to minimized the processing you need to lower the mega pixel of picture size., you can adjust your picture size under Menu settings, And choose not lower or higher than 6 mega pixel to have a good quality picture printout

You should have a USB lead that goes from the camera to the PC, just connect them up and let the computer install the new hardware, once done if it doesn't autoplay just look in computer for "removable device" just double click on it to open the device and then copy the pics to the PC.

What is the operating system you are using on the computer?

You may not need to use the software on the disk.

When you connect the camera with the usb cable, does the computer recognize and load the driver?

Please answer these questions for me and I may be able to help you.

Also, follow these directions:

1. Hook the camera to the computer with the USB cable.
2. Click start
3. Computer
Is the camera showing in the menu

If so, double click the camera icon or name

It should show you what is on the camera

Also, are you using the internal memory or a memory card?

I need answers to these questions in order to help you.

No software required
The Win computer should recognise the camera as an extra drive or even put up the Camara/Scammer Wizard.
The only possible exception to this is if the camera in question is using internal memort
Here you will have yo consult your manual or the menus to discover what to set.

I dont think there is a format memory. Only a delete all. here are the instructions.

Mode 6: Delete All - The Delete All mode is used to erase all of the
pictures from the chameleon Mega. Press the Mode/Power button 3
times until the square with line across it is blinking. Press the Shutter for 3 seconds to delete
all of the pictures.
