Toshiba locked with password

OBCD did not work, it works great on my desktop but not on this laptop. It will go in my arsenal fixing others computers.I cannot even pull up the boot order screen. It flashes then the enter password box pops up. Do you have a schematics of this mobo? i can not find it on the web. Could I clear the eprom?(with a paperclip and grounded to chasis) As far as I know the rom has never been flashed with a newer bios. I am stuck

Why is admin PW locked?

BIOS passwords can add an extra layer of security for desktop and laptop computers. They are used to either prevent a user from changing the BIOS settings or to prevent the PC from booting without a password. Unfortunately, BIOS passwords can also be a liability if a user forgets their password, or changes the password to intentionally lock out the corporate IT department. Sending the unit back to the manufacturer to have the BIOS reset can be expensive and is usually not covered in the warranty. Never fear, all is not lost. There are a few known back doors and other tricks of the trade that can be used to bypass or reset the BIOS

I am locked out of my toshiba sat L355D-S7809

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. Click on one of these links to download HIREN'S BOOTCD :- http://www.hirensbootcd.net/ http://67.20.82.163/

Go to the link below and download Ophcrack and install it to a bootable flash drive. It's FREE and works great. Boot from the flash drive and let it do it's magic. You'll have your password shortly:

I am looking for my bios password on my toshiba deskstop it was locked i do not have password harddrive password is locked

You're definitely out of luck if there is a Password on the Hard Drive. The only way you can get the system to ever work again is to get that someone that put the password on the hard drive to take it off.

99% of the time if a computer has a Password on the hard drive and the person it possession of the computer does not know the password, it's a stolen computer. The original owner put the password lock on it to keep thieves from getting to sensitive data if it is stolen.

My comouter asks for a password when trying to reboot. How can I bypass the password?

Try TOSHIBA as the password. It works on most of their laptops. I'm not sure about desktops but it's worth a shot! :) Also try holding ESC while it's booting before the password prompt comes up. That sometimes works too. Good luck!
