My wirlpool estate washer model TAWX700JQ1 will not spin or agitate but does fill with water

i mean how and where is it the valve?is the tub tilting to far forwards and the water is running down the back of tub,if so that's a broken spring down the bottom middle or a little to the left side in rear,if it's the valve it's part 285805 or could be from the fill hoses but you have to send a little more info this could be a few things.could be the fill cup on top center of tub.go here put your model number in and you can see all parts on washer look at where it says control and you'll see the fill valve there

Try replacing the lid switch.
These are cheaply mad of plastic, and fail often on all washers.

Hey Don, If you removed the cabinet to get to your pump, you had to unplug the wire that connects to your lid switch. Did you make sure to plug the lid switch plug back into it's plug-in on top of your cabinet under control panel when you re-installed the cabinet. Your washer won't spin or pump water if this is the case. I'd check that first, then check the lid switch itself for proper operation. Happy to help, Tim. please don't forget to rate my help. The whirlpool calypso was a lemon!!! if i were you i would buy another machine. They have many problems! Pumps go out very frequently and they are over 80 dollars. Save and buy a new machine... Sorry for the bad news.
