Re: Reset my router and printer wont work wireless
It probably is hasn't let go of it's old ip address. First try power down/up for printer and PC. If that doesn't work, uninstall and re-install the printer.

Hi John,
Have you tried resetting the router using the internet address?
When your IE stops with "Can't open Page" type into the URL box
192.168.100.1/gscan.htm.
This should give you the router maintenance page which will tell you if it is working ok and options to try and reset it.
The wireless cards in the computers need to be configured with the router's wireless settings so the computers can connect to the wireless router. Resetting the wireless router back to the factory defaults will not let the computers connect to the wireless router without configuring the network card in the computers with the router's wireless settings. I suggest you configure your wireless router with encryption settings to prevent unauthorized persons accessing your wireless network and Internet connection and your computers.
If your printer was wirelessly working before, try to unplug/replug your printer to the power outlet. Doing this usually fixes minor communication issues.
If that doesn't help, please reset the wireless network adapter for your printer. On the printer operator panel, press Setup button -> Network Setup -> Reset Network Adapter to Factory
Defaults. The WiFi light will momentarily turn off, then turns on steady orange. You can now reconfigure your printer for wireless connection.
In this situation your wireless printer might require a power reset
before you print each document. Though the printing activity will take
place efficiently you will have to physically go and power the printer
to enable it to print. This problem might require you to reload the
firmware of the router and set the wireless printer to manual IP address
in order to make it work seamlessly no matter how many documents you
have to print.
Sometimes when you get a red x against the wireless icon, it means the wireless card did not get an IP address from the wireless router or the router needs resetting.
To get the router to issue a new IP address to the laptop, right click on the wireless icon and click on Repair.
If this doesn't work, power off thr router for 30 secs and power up the router, wait till the LEDs on the router are on then boot up the laptop or do a Repair on the wireless icon.
