Question about Garmin Suction Cup Mount with 12V Adapter (010-10935-02) Mounting Unit, Vehicle Mounting

Garmin Suction Cup (Rubber)

The suction cup on my Garmin keeps droping the unit. The neoprene rubber has some flaws ( small missing area's )due to it being remove from the windshield. It needs a new neoprene gasket I believe (Or some type of repair).

Put a drop of dishwashing detergent and a few drops of water on the rubber and distribute it evenly before You mount it to the windshield. This mixture enhances the suction power and keeps the rubber soft. Repeat after 3-4 months! If You don't like the look of it on the outside of the window, put a smiley sticker on it! :-)

You need a dash disc as the suction mount needs a very smooth surface. Disc are available at GPSNSTUFF.com.

Hi, I have a Garmen Quest and the suction cup that mounts the unit to the wind screen has lost its seal, I need a replacement mounting base.

You can try retail stores such as BestBuy/Radio Shack. Or you can order a new one from the manufacturer. Although first try rubbing the suction cup down with rubbing alcohol to clean it and try it then.

Garmin nuvi 360 suction cup knob issue

If the end of the cradle has a ball, and the cup has
a round part, just push the ball in, yes it does go in hard but should be ok. If it makes you feel more
comfortable, you can put a drop of water on ball and wipe it around, once it dries, it wont slop around.

No instructions. please help

It's a ball and socket device. You have to force the suction cup ball device into the socket. It'll pop, and you know it's in there. By the way once it's in, it relies on friction to keep it from moving so do not add any lubricant to facilitate the joining of the two pieces.
