Question about Garmin Suction Cup Mount with 12V Adapter (010-10935-02) Mounting Unit, Vehicle Mounting

Garmin Suction Cup (Rubber)

The suction cup on my Garmin keeps droping the unit. The neoprene rubber has some flaws ( small missing area's )due to it being remove from the windshield. It needs a new neoprene gasket I believe (Or some type of repair).

Put a drop of dishwashing detergent and a few drops of water on the rubber and distribute it evenly before You mount it to the windshield. This mixture enhances the suction power and keeps the rubber soft. Repeat after 3-4 months! If You don't like the look of it on the outside of the window, put a smiley sticker on it! :-)

Nees replacement rubber feet for my magic hostess food processor

I have replacement suction cup feet for most, if not all, Rival and Magic Hostess kitchen equipment so equipped. The replacements I offer are black, not gray as originals, newly manufactured and work very well. They can also be used on Rival and Magic Hostess kitchen equipment that used a foam foot, rather than suction cup and improve non-skid safety. mailto:lallin@juno.com

I have a Rival handcrank food slicer,it has no other markings other then it says Rival on the crank handle. The rubber feet that keeps it from sliding around during use are gone. Where or how can I get...

I can supply suction cup feet for most, if not all, metal framed Rival and Magic Hostess brand slicers, Kitcheneers, Shred-o-mat, etc. If it is RIval or Magic hostess and uses small rubber suction cup feet, I can help. mailto:lallin@juno.com

Mounting of gps can't mount on windsheild.

Tomtom GPS devices come with a variety of windshield suction mounts. All have in common that the windshield and the suction cup both must be clean; use a mild soap dispersed in some warm water to remove any dirt. Rinse properly. Sometimes it helps to keep the cup a little moist.

Make sure the cup is not warped due to previous exposure to heat, and check for any nicks in the rubber. Small damage may easily make the mount unusable and you'd need to get a replacement.

Models with a lever mechanic: open the lever (cup becomes flat), press the cup against the windshield and while keeping pressure, close the lever. It will lift the middle of the cup away from the windshield, causing a vacuum.

Models with a ring around the cup base: Turn the ring all the way counter-clockwise (cup becomes flat), press cup against windshield and while keeping pressure, turn the ring clockwise 90 degrees. This requires some force, but in my experience these mounts stick more reliable,

GPS will not stick to the windshield.

Check to make sure that the suction cup you have is the appropiate size for your GPS unit. Also check to make sure there is no grease or other slippery substance on the windshield or suction cup that stops it from sticking to the surface. If you have something like Rain-X on your windshield, you will need to clean the area where the suction cup will be placed, and after that, it should stick.
