best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do I get my muve music from my phone to my desktop computer

Connect the supplied USB cable from your cell phone to the USB port on your computer.
The computer will see the cell phone as an external storage device or an external mass storage device, you can then open the music folder on your cell phone and copy the music to your computer.

I have an old sun multimedia 1801 i am being prompted to change my usb port for my mass storage device so it can run faster but I beleive this is an internal device.

You are correct. You said it is an OLD Sun 1801. It probably is USB 1.1 standard. Some newer devices can run on older standards, but will do so more slowly. But some are not compatible with the older USB standards. It may be possible for you to add a USB adapter card to the machine to make it work with the new device if your machine is upgradeable in that way. Otherwise, a visit to the returns counter for the Mass Storage Device or the computer department for a current replacement PC is pending.

How to transfer pictures from hp netbook to my nokia5000 cell phone

Connect your phone via the data cable to the Netbook usb port. Select mass storage on the cellphone if you want to transfer the pictures as you do in a pen drive. Your nokia cell phone will be then listed in My Computer/ Computer as a mass storage device. Copy and paste the pictures to the images folder on the phone.

Or

After connecting the cellphone you can select nokia PC suite and can transfer images using the software. You need to download and install the software before you connect the cellphone.

Shrey

My 160GB Crossfire is not recognised when connected to any of the USB ports. It used to be, but then I've had some other PC issues recently that meant a forced closure of the PC and I'm concerned that...

When starting the external drive there is not much more than just plugging it in to a USB port and turning it on. The computer should recognize it ( showing something like the window shown here http://attachments.techguy.org/attachments/66120d1129787805/new-device-found2.jpg ) and it will show up in the My Computer area and a green arrow looking icon ( http://home.krb.nsw.edu.au/start/images/USB2.jpg ) When disconnecting an external drive the correct procedure is to left click the arrow in the system tray and select Safely Remove Mass Storage Device (X:) (whatever letter you device shows here)
You may want to test if another computer recognizes the device being plugged in to see if it is still functioning. You may want to also try plugging the device into a different USB port on your computer.
