Canon printer: PIXMA MX700 I removed the paper from the paper tray when the printer was about to start printing. Then I received error, 1500, on the printer's screen. I have put the paper back to the...

This is a strange one. There is no error 1500. I suspect you meant error 5100. This can happen when you have a paper jam.
1st When you pulled the tray out was the paper still left in the machine.
2nd If it was then did the whole sheet of paper come out when you pulled it out?
3rd If no then some paper is still in there and u need to find it and carefully remove it.
4th If yes then you may have done something to the carriage as that is was error 5100 refers to.

Take a look inside and you should see a thin plastic strip running from left to right the full width of the machine. It is called the encoder strip and it may have flipped onto it's side. All the cases need to come off and the strip needs unclipping and refeeding through the carriage.

Look at the flashing lights (thats the alarm and power lights) they will be flashing. They will flash twice the wait a second then flash twice again and so on. That will confirm the carriage is the problem. If you dont feel up to it then take it to a canon repairer and not joe bloggs as getting the covers off without breaking them is quite a job.

good luck

Epson Stylus 1200 lights indicate carriage jam

This means that your Epson printer has come to its end of life. In short, Epson wants you to retire your printer and buy a new one. Your Epson printer may be in good shape which is often the case. But Epson has this build-in "feature" which they want you to buy a new one.

My 1900 printer power is on and flashing slowly and the paper/garbage light is on and not flashing.

Hello.

You most likely have a paper jam or a paper feeding problem. Paper may have jammed in the sheet feeder, manual feed slot, or roll paper slot.

Sheet Feeder or Manual Feed Slot: Press the
paper button to eject any jammed sheets, then open
the printer cover and remove any paper jammed inside.
Press the paper button again to clear the error.

Hope this helps.

There's a small white light below the power light that's flashin.

In this case you may have to clear the memory of the printer or set the printer to default.

Paper jam that isn't

You could try a partial reset of the printer
Unplug the power cord
Reconnect power cord
When lights are flashing, press & hold On/Resume and PaperSize buttons
When only the On/Resume light is flashing, release both buttons
When On/Resume light is steady, reset is completed

Problem on a canon 3100

The Power Light Flashes Orange - Error Codes When an error occurs, the power light flashes orange. The number of orange flashes followed by a long green flash indicates the cause of the problem.
Two orange flashes: Out of paper, paper jam, or paper feed error
If no paper is loaded in the auto sheet feeder, or if the paper is not loaded correctly, set the paper correctly and press the Resume button on the printer to continue printing.
Three orange flashes: Paper jam
If paper has jammed in the printer, carefully remove the jam and press the Resume button to continue printing.
Four orange flashes: A tank inside the BJ cartridge (print head) is out of ink
Replace the empty BJ tank and press the Resume button to continue printing.
Five orange flashes: BJ cartridge is not installed properly
Remove and reseat the cartridge correctly. Make sure the orange protective cap and tape have been removed. Make sure the blue locking lever is locked down securely.
Six orange flashes: BJ cartridge (printhead) is not installed
Remove and reseat the cartridge correctly. Make sure the orange protective cap and tape have been removed. Make sure the blue locking lever is locked down securely.
Seven orange flashes: BJ cartridge (printhead) is defective
Remove the BJ cartridge and check that the contacts on the cartridge and cartridge holder are clean. Make sure the orange protective cap and tape have been removed and reinstall the cartridge. If the error occurs again after you resume operation, you may need to replace the BJ cartridge.
Eight orange flashes: Waste ink absorber almost full
The printer has a built-in waste ink absorber to hold the ink that is consumed during print head cleaning. This error indicates that the waste ink absorber is nearly full. Press the Resume button to skip the error so you can continue printing.
The POWER light flashes orange and green alternately: Service error
A service error means the printer requires the attention of a qualified technician. Count the number of flashes. (You may be asked this information.)

Canon s520

The number of orange flashes between green flashes indicates the type of error, as outlined below. Check the cause and take the appropriate action. Two flashes: Out of paper, paper jam or paper feed error Replace the paper correctly and press the RESUME/CANCEL button. If paper has jammed in the printer, clear the jam and press the RESUME/CANCEL button. Three flashes: Paper jam If paper has jammed in the printer, clear the jam, replace the paper in the printer correctly and press the RESUME/CANCEL button. Four flashes: Empty ink tank One of the ink tanks is empty. Replace it. If all of the above won't help, unplug the printer from the power cable, wait a while, and plug in. If that didn't fix you, I guess it's time to get in touch with canon, or a repair lab you trust. Good luck
