Take a small paper clip and clean out the rinse jets on each of the rinse arms. When you use chlorine it sometimes causes the jets to become plugged up.

I have a LXiC Hobart dishmachine I do not want to use Sanitizer because my hot water is very hot. How do you disable the sanitizer pump and alarm? H.

Do you realize that to sanitize with hot water alone requires 180 degree F water? I am a hobart technician and I've never seen any business or residence with hot water anywhere near that. Residential hot water is generally approx. 120, Commercial locations generally use approx. 140, but never near 180 (tap water that hot would be a severe safety problem). Hobart LXIH machines use a built in booster heater to boost the temperature of the incoming hot water up to the required 180 deg.

The inside bottom of our CMA dishmachine is pitting and has a hole through it. It is supposed to be stainless steel. The company said it was because we had too much iron in our water? We had the water...

This is usually caused by a leak in the plastic chemical line on the sanitizer. Over time and it doesn't have to be long time for it to happen, the chlorine sanitizer drips on the stainless causing it to pit. Contact your chemical supplier to check this out; The sanitizer is corrosive to stainless when not mixed with water in the machine

Clorine test by county health failed, what

Hello,
The first thing I would check is the chlorine pump's element tube (squeeze tube) The element tubes often get worn out and stop drawing chlorine through the pump and into the wash tank. Most chemical supplier will have these element tubes. The element tube is located in the chemical pump. The chemical pump is usually located just inside the front lower service panel of the machine.

Hobart 24 in. LXIC fails sanitizer tests. The sanitizer pump is pumping out about 4-5 ml per rinse when I remove the tube at the 90 degree tube fitting. According to specs it should be about 3 ml of 8.5%...

I thought it was designed for domestic bleach at 5.25%, and looking for a solution of 50 ppm of sanitizer and rinse water. Either the elbow is blocked, or the silicone tube in the pump has collapsed. Use rubber gloves and face protection when working on chemical tubing.

I have a three year old Hobart. I am not sure

Look on the top edge of the door to find the data plate. It sounds like an SR24, if the leds are on the left of two temp gauges. If your sanitizer pump has a tired silicone tube that is flattened from use, it will not draw chemical. if you have an air bubble in the sense board at the back, it will think you have run out. If you have changed the type of chemical or diluted it, the board will need recalibrating to suit. Put some sanitizer in a small vessel with the pickup tube and monitor the amount delivered. Usually one is looking for 50 ppm solution of bleach and rinse water.( test with litmus paper) If you have an SR24H with a booster, you don't need bleach sanitizer and holding the sanitizer button will turn the sense off.

facing front of machine top right near pressure guage there is an electric solenoide valve , you must change the kit inside it is eighter diaphram type or piston type, you must shut off the water inlet before servicing, then undu the 4 bolts on the top of the valve to see if it is diaphram or piston
