Black and Decker Coffee Maker

Black and Decker Coffee Maker is not dependable. Unless the carafe is placed very carefully, coffee and grounds leak all over the counter. The heat plate turns off when coffee is made so it doesn't stay hot. Not only did I purchase one of these for myself, I bought another three days later for a friend who had dropped by and admired the one I had just gotten. At that time I had only used mine a couple times and actually only used it for a few days before having problems. My friend called yesterday to ask if I had problems and he explained he was experiencing the same difficulties I had. Please tell me if I may get reimbursed from you for these two poorly-designed coffeemakers. They were purchased at Home Depot for $29.99 each, plus tax, on 11-5-2007 and 11-8-2007.
