I have this monitor connected to the cable box via DVI cable but it keeps telling me that the digital out of range and says 33.6 kHz / 30Hz???

Install the monitor drivers on the CD that came with it. Most people plug in the monitor and think they don't need the Drivers on the CD. Every thing works fine untill one day you get the problem you guys are having. Make sur you install them manually otherwise windows will still you use the old drivers even though you use the CD
