If your phone is already unlocked then you can use your sim from Australia. Debranding only gets rid of some preinstalled stuff like wallpapers/ringtones/startup+shut down screens.

The flash theme will not work on your phone until u debrand it... the method of debranding can be watched in this video... see and convert it to enjoy..................
May i maybe suggeust you look into flashing the phone with some computer software, this method rewrites the complete phone back to an original setting, your phone of course will be completely wiped of all saved stuff but you will have a fresh phone, if this problem did not come from misuse or accidental problems then the phone might of course just be broken ie phones brain not telling the screen it can interact, if you need software you can litterally look it up on google sony erricsson phones are the easiest,
