Game will not play. says there is nothing inserted in the game card slot.

The pins in the slot might be gunked up so that the cartridge is not making connection,
The cartridge may be bad, or if the game was forced into the slot the slot maybe broken.

Make sure that you have a DSi compatible Action Replay. If you do you may wish to return it because it sounds like your card is malfunctioning.

Two things: the dsi action replay will not stay inserted into the dsi consistently; when it does stay inserted and i want to switch back to a game (without the action replay), then the dsi doesn't...

  1. Action Replay Not Staying Inserted:
    • The issue with the Action Replay not staying inserted into the DSi may be due to a loose or damaged cartridge slot on the DSi or an issue with the Action Replay cartridge itself.
    • Check the Action Replay cartridge for any visible damage, including bent pins or connectors. If you find any, it may need to be repaired or replaced.
    • Try inserting other game cartridges into your DSi to see if they fit securely. If other cartridges also don't stay in place, it could indicate a problem with the DSi's cartridge slot.
  2. DSi Not Recognizing Game Cartridge:
    • If your DSi doesn't recognize that there's a game in the slot, this could be related to the Action Replay cartridge, or it could be a more general issue with the DSi.
    • Test this issue with regular game cartridges that are known to work. If the DSi still doesn't recognize them, there may be a problem with the cartridge slot.
    • If other game cartridges work fine, the issue may be specific to the Action Replay. In this case, you should contact the manufacturer or distributor for support or a replacement.
In either case, if the problem persists, you may want to consider having your DSi and Action Replay inspected or repaired by a professional technician, or contact Nintendo's customer support for further assistance. Make sure to follow their guidance and ensure that your DSi and accessories are in good working condition.

Nintendo dsi not recognizing game

IS IT AN ORIGINAL NINTENDO DSi GAME???IS IT AN R4 CARD OR TT CARD?
IF IT IS AN ORIGINAL TRY REMOVING IT,AND GENTLY BLOW INTO THE SLOT....LEAVE IT FOR ABOUT A MINUTE AND PUT THE GAME BACK IN.....SOMETIMES THE SMALLEST BIT OF DUST WILL EFFECT IT.............OTHERWISE IF ITS AN R4 OR TT CARD THE SOFTWARE MIGHT NOT BE INSTALLED CORRECTLY
