It is the problem with the gears
gently open the screw and disassemble the front unit and apply the greese material between the gears so to move them frequently. if the gears are damaged you have to replace the gears.do not forcibly pull it out it will damage something else of the unit.

Can't you turn the loading motor pulley with your fingers? It's that
short gear that turns the horizontal cam on the right in front of the
A/C heads. Going one way will unload it, the other loads it. Be
prepared to wind the video tape into the case by hand before the
casing door shuts or it be crinkled. Another method is to remove about
4 screws holding down the basket but then you must preserve the
    timing

JVC GR-D91U MINI DV NO POWER SO CAMERA WILL NOT WORK AND TAPE WILL NOT EJECT REPLACED BATTERY AND STILL HAVE PROBLEM ALSO WHEN CHARGER IS PLUGGED IN --CAHRGING LIGHT DOES NOT GO ON

I haven't exactly fixed this problem as of yet but I do know what is causing it. The tape that you last put in is defective and to keep from causing more problems the camera has shut down. The problem is that the only way to fix it is to remove the mini-dv. I am looking for a tool small enough to remove the screws that will allow me to manually extract the defective mini-dv. I am hoping this works, and will let you know what I discover.

JVC GR-D31 camcorder showing "Condensation" warning - no matter what I do. Suspect faulty dew sensor. What can I do?

There are two options here:

1) Eject the unit so that the tape compartment is open and blow air into the camera using a fan. That should reduce any condensation inside that may exist.

2) If the above does not work, the sensor could be bad or the connections onit could be bad. You will need to remove the door to gain access to the mechanism. You should be able to see the sensor inside. It will appear to be like a small grid on the face of the mechanism. Check the connections on it. If they appear to be OK. Call up JVC and order a replacement dew sensor.

If you don't feel comfortable working on camcorders, please seek out an authorized JVC service center.
