Sony DSC-T100 lcd screen is dark and faded
My lcd display doesn't seem to be working. It worked fine one day and the next I turned it on and at first glance it looks black. If I move it around I can bareley make out an image or menu options. I charged the battery and it made no difference.

This happened because you are not a camera repair technician. You took a complicated piece of electronic equipment apart without any knowledge of what you were doing. I'm glad that at least, your pics turn out.
Maybe the shutter got wet and sticky. You can try look into the lens then press shutter button to take picture. If you don’t see the movement inside the hole, the shutter doesn’t open, it will take black picture.
No. It is likely that there is still water in it. It's very important that you take the battery out and do not try to use it. Take it to a repair shop and be SURE to tell them it had water in it so they can take the appropriate steps to clean and protect it.
I have a sony cybershot DSC-S650, the LCD was very dark and could not
see anything except if I pointed it at a bright object, everything else
worked ok. I could take pictures but could barely see them in playback
as well.
I took it to Sony authorised repair outlet and was told
the CCD was damaged, they charged me USD $55 to repair it (in Quito,
Ecuador)
Seems like something is crushed internally a connector perhaps-
