When was last tune up? Plugs, wires, all fluids & filters especially fuel filter? I'd start there and run a good fuel system cleaner through it. Also avoid cheap fuel - lot of questionable fuel at cheap/cut rate stations.

Stalls when coming to a stop

Mine stalled when I stopped and it was the Idle Speed Motor. If it only stalls when you stop, I would check that before messing with the fuel filter or pump.

When you turn the ignition to on you should here the fuel pump run. If you aren't hearing it then it sure sounds like the pump. Assuming nothing has happened to the car to affect electrical connections. I don't think there is a fuse for the pump but worth checking also.

It likely needs a fuel pump, hook up a fuel pressure gauge, it needs to be 11-13 psi

My 1991 Toyota Corolla had it's fuel pump replaced 3 months ago.

Yes. may be filter. But first check fuel pressure at injector rail. Should be approx 40 PSI. any lower will cause these symptoms.

Replacing fuel filter should be a given when changing pump, get it changed today.
