Recently i left my camera battery in a disharged condition now the camera wont come on.

Hello there,

It sounds like your rechargeble battery is dead.
You will have to buy a replacement battery.

Rechargeable battery Lithium-ion battery (BP70A, 740 mAh)

You will probably get it cheapest on Ebay. Make sure the Ebay picture matches your Battery.

The way to get your Battery out of the Camera is on Page 15 of your user Manual.

If you have not got it, you can download it here

Samsung d760 camera nikon sony

It isn't. The Samsung D760 is a camera, not a battery charger. It runs on standard AA batteries, disposable or rechargeable. If you want to use rechargeable batteries then you'll have to charge them outside the camera in a separate battery charger.

I Use a fully charged(more than 14 hrs charged) New Sanyo battery 2700 mAH Ni MH rechargeable on my Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W5 Digital camera, when the power is on the battery display shown fully...

may be batteries you brought are old try with normal ( not rechargeble ) batteries. it would not last long but you can take atleast 30 to 50 photos. if it works it means new batteries are faulty.this type of problem i never saw in camera.use SANYO harmolattice HR-3UQ batteries.

Battries dries out soon.

I've done a bit of research on this and am finding from my own experience with my powershot that it's the battery that is the issue. Not all rechargeable batts are equal. There are several cheap rechargeables that don't hold charges. Stick with a name brand battery. Canon makes brand batteries, Energizer etc... but I have found that the my cheaper batteries-even if they're rated a higher capacity, have been the let-down. It is an investment for the good batteries but it pays off when you don't miss the shots you want to take... K

Extremely short battery life

do you use alkeline batteries? if yes then they would end in 20-25 shots. Instead, use rechargable batteries of 2500 mah which will last long, very long. On my Cybershot H1, they give aproximate 350 shots with single recharge.

Go for Sony Original Batteries or Uniross brand also works fine.

2300 mah/ 2500 Mah any will work.. :-)
