Unfortunately all you can do on that phone is to go on My accounts and click on the Facebook account and delete it from there . If you need to Login again you will need to reconfigure it completely.
But there is another option, less destructive = automatic logoff. For that read here

Not in m.facebook (which is the mobile version), in the regular facebook site, from a desktop pc. If it's the same then do what i said first - delete the account from the phone. For that follow (on a desktop) the third advice from here
http://www.facebook.com/help/?search=how...
When you reinstall the app it picks the same settings so you end up in the same situation as before. You must remove the account from its settings before uninstalling it.
On your phone: Menu --> Settings --> Accounts and check for the Facebook account (and every related one) then delete it> Then go in your Facebook in a desktop, and follow thishttp://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=13452 to delete the Android app.
Last hope attempt - get a different phone with a different OS and a different app and try to access your account and log in and out from it . If you can't do that i think it's time to contact Facebook directly and ask them to do it for you because most likely it's a fault in their servers.

You could try to hard reset your LG Ally, many of the problems can be solved through the hard reset.
Remember to back up your LG Ally first, for the hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
Hard Reset -::>Turn off your LG Ally, press and hold the volume (up or down), home and power keys simultaneously.
The problem is how java keeps sending the login / out packets, and keep alive , the only fix I know of is to uninstall the mobile app from your phone and then reinstall it. Not sure what phone you have but the process is the same, connect it to computer, launch your phone management software, remove the application reinstall the application.
ps. you can also try a battery pull, remove the battery from your phone. wait a bit then put it back in. (dont work in most phones)
in your mobile browser enter this as a url (go to site) or goto webpage etc how ever you have it..
firstly go to the m.facebook page, then go to this url.
http://m.facebook.com/logout.php?confirm...
will force java to logout
try this http://m.facebook.com/logout.php?confirm...
make sure u enter it as is, its a java injection hack that should log you out and redirect you to google.
when it redirects you to the google page it leaves the face book page logs you out. But once you revist the facebook page, because your username and password is stored in the mobiles cache memory it logs you back in instantly, follow the instructions again to log out, as soon as you do clear the phones cache memory and password log from the browser your using options. If you have multiple browsers installed you will need to do it for them all.

Hello!
what brand and model is your mobile phone?
Have you tried this solution before?
access facebook.com on your phone using the address " m.facebook.com " then log out.
see if that fix the problem
you can also go for the chat and select the " go offline "
Hello!
I am sorry for my late response.
Here are two ways that you need. First, is how to log out from facebook.com and Secondly, how to go offline on chat
On your Android, click on " Facebook " on the top. (It is the facebook apps on your android and not the one you access on your browser) Once clicked, then comes out News Feed, Profile, Friends, Messages, Places, Chat, Groups, Events, Photos and Requests. When you are there click the menu button and it will shows Settings, Refresh, About and Logout. Click the LOGOUT
To go offline, click on the Chat icon. Once you are in the chat screen, press the menu button on the bottom left on the front of your phone. Once you press that button, an option will pop up that say "Go Offline"
Every time you access the Facebook application on your Android, go first to the chat icon and go offline.

I have tried taking the battery out and that didnt work. I dont know how to uninstall m.facebook.com. I have searched but cant find a way to do it. I do have facebook for android and can uninstall that. but my problem seems to be with the mobile facebook location. I have and LG Ally.
Thank you but i dont have chat on my FB for android. i do logout from this app and it hasnt helped. i really feel it is with m.facebook.com. i used this app before i used m.facebook and never had this problem.
My PC facebook is fine. it is just through m.facebook that i have the problem. when i go to the full site from there. it says logout to enable chat. ive tried this repeatedly and it is not working. im still logged in.
Im tying all options first. i did log into m.facebbook from my pc and it said the same thing and i could not enable chat because i was not logged out. i do remember once being on the fullsit through m.facebook and went to log out and there was no logout option but a submit option...so i clicked it and now we have a problem.
I went to the security section of m.facebook and there is a activity that says error occured cannot find session but no option to end activity.
I have deleted the facebook app from phone and went through the ps as well. pc site is fine everything is correct. when i access it on my phone browser it still has the same problem. i do not wish to deactivate if i dont have to. but going through the phone browser it makes me go through m.facebook then i can acess desktop site but still has the warning.
How can I remove all fb settings? I haven't reinstalled the fb apps and still have the same. Even did a factory reset.
It didn't work. There was not an android app listed when I went on the desktop. I'm still logged in somewhere. Thank you for your patience.
I did this but it didn't go to any site. And its still the same problem. It is possible that I didn't do this correctly.
I have tried this and seem to be getting no response from it. I may be doing something wrong. Should it be showing me redirecting or something it keep it at the m.facebook login page. Maybe I need more detailed instructions. Than you for your patience.
That did take me to google home page. I use my email to log into facebook should I use that for the next step?

I did this again and double checked myself and entered it exactly as you said and it still did not work.
Hello again. I just up a test account on FB and the yellow yeild sign is still there with the same message to logout and log in to enable chat. I did this to check and compare settings. They are the same. I went on through the pc and my main account show me as logged on and ready for chat but I have logged out. I'm not on at all but it shows I am. I set the new account up on my phone browser. Hpe this helps. The test account doesn't show up as logged when I'm out.
