Question about Hotpoint 3.6 cu. ft. / 102 liter Upright Freezer RZA21

Condensation on base of Hotpoint R134a upright freezer

Hotpoint Iced Diamond R134a upright freezer (103 litre - no refrigerator) has condensed water on the base that drips on the floor. Door seals are ok. It seems to be that the base plate is quite cold (13.5C) and it is condensing water from the atmosphere. Is this normal? Can I prevent it? The internal temperature is -21C.

Water collecting in fridge well

your drain line is clogged. Either drefrost the entire unit or use a hair dryer to defrost the drain line in the back of the unit's refrigerator section. Some units have a drain line in the back that is black and needs to be cleared,

I have a large water patch on the wall behind my integrated fridge freezer what could this be

Condensation? Are there any coils on the back in that area that could have iced up? Does the back of the unit feel cold? Maybe just poorly insulated and cooling the wall allowing condensation of humid air.

Kenmore freezer peeing on my floor

  • if the door was not closed correctly for a while then a lot of condensation will be accumulated on the freezer coils.
  • then when going into defrost it melts this ice/frost and overflows the pan or container under the machine which relies on evaporation to dispel  of the water.
  • empty the pan under the refrigerator if you can, then give it another day, it will get back to normal.
if you already checked this and think it is a different problem then let me know, i will help you figure it out.
