Amplifier keeps going on to standby

Your amplifier more than likely has DC Offset, a damaged amplifier. If you are interested in having your Teac repaired, please refer to my website, audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me there. Thank you.

How to set clock on the teac sr-l100 just bought at yard sale, no info book. thanks d

The "set time" button on my SR-L100 is located inside the CD compartment. To set the time the unit needs to be in the standby mode. Press and hold the set time button until the time blinks, then use the tuning/clock adj. dial to set it. Hope this helps!

To set the alarm on the TEAC SLR 100:
Be sure the radio is set to off or standby.
Hold down the BUTTON for the alarm you wish to set (#1 or #2) until the TIME ON THE DISPLAY begins flashing. Use the TUNER/CLOCKSET DIAL to change the display to the time you wish the alarm to go off. pRESS THE ALARM BUTTON BRIEFLY TO RETURN TO NORMAL OPERATION.

Connect teac ar 600 amp to digital optical output on new TV

Should be easy if it has a optical input. If not you will need a digital to analog converter with a optical input. Some have optical, some coaxial some both. Do a web search. I know they are out there, just not sure how much.

AR SW-30 subwoofer doesn't switch to standby mode when off

Disconnect its input cable to see if a true lack of signal lets it go to sleep. If not, it has a bug. Otherwise, you probably have some sort of signal present on the sub cable.

TEAC EU2816STF Television Will turn on for just a second and then off to standby. Then cant be turned on from standby. Can hear audio.

The set is going in to protect mode. Something on one of the circuit boards has failed and is most likey shorted.

The set would require proper troubleshooting to locate the defective parts, and then to replace them.
