How to Put Games on a PSP MemoryCard

Because of the PSP's lack of onboard storage, most games that are downloadedfrom the PlayStation network must be stored on memory cards. However, this isnot necessarily a bad thing, as storing games on memory cards allows you tokeep games on different cards and swap them out at your leisure.

1. Go to the PlayStationStore on the PSP by clicking on the link in your cross-media bar. You will needto log in using your PlayStation Network ID. If you do not have one, you canget one by clicking on the "Get a PlayStation ID" button in thestore. 2. Browse for games. You canbrowse the PlayStation store by genre, title or release date. If you arelooking for something specific, you can also use the search bar at the top ofthe page. 3. Purchase points to pay forgames. If you have a credit card, you can purchase points from the storedirectly. If you do not have a credit card, you will have to go to a GameStopor Best Buy to purchase a card. After you purchase the card, you can add pointsto your account by going to the "redeem code" section of the store. 3. Insert your memory card. After deciding which game(s)you want to purchase, make sure you insert the memory card you want to use intothe memory card port on the side of the device. 4. Download the game. Click on the name of the game, andthen click on the "buy" icon. After your PlayStation Network pointshave been subtracted from your account, the download will start automatically.Do not turn off or reset your PSP while the download is in progress. You willsee a notifier pop-up when it is finished. Read more: How to PutGames on a PSP Memory Card ' eHow.com

My playstation 1 will not read my memory card as being there. Is it the card or the playstation?

I had the same thing. It's partly the playstation. Not that it's not being able to read the memory card, but that it has been used too much that the memory card isn't inserted right. Try loading while holding it up, down, pushing it farther in, etc. If any of these things work, put something under or above the memory card to keep it on the right spot.

I have a playstation 1 game that i play on my 3, and it keeps freezing at a certain point, and i know that its the game. but i was wondering if i could save it to a certain memory card and play it on a old...

Unfortunetly unless you were to find the game in the PSN store then you could play it without freezing but since PS3 doesnt support memory cards you won't be able to do that. Its really too bad I know how you feel when you data ends up useless because of a glitchy old game :C

Game turns on then shuts down

Hello.
You may have a lot of dust in your fan causing the playstation 3 to overheat and emergency shut down before it fries the internals. Try taking some CO2 compressed air spray from your local store and blast the dust out and then try it again. Hope this helps!

Im nearly out of memory i have deleted lots but only have 9313mb out of 55gb how do i open up more space its running v3.1

do you watch lots of blu-ray movies? br movies store some disc information on the ps3. i forget off the top of my head, but under the media section, there is an option to see all the br info. it will bring up a list of all the br movies you watched. you can click into each movie, and pull up the menu, and delete the movie info. not sure how much that will clear up for you but it's a start.

also, delete game saves as some of them can take up a lot of room. demos as well.

My playstation 1's memory card is in,but it's not saving anything

Memory cards unfortunately do fail after some time, all flash memory has a limit to how many times it can be written and rewritten. If it is an official Sony memory card these usually last a lot longer, but even they will fail eventually. If it is a third party, non-Sony brand memory card, they usually die much much faster. So sorry to hear about that, luckily a new one at gamestop or elsewhere should be around $5 or less most places.

I purchased Tekken 2 through my psp system from the playstation store online. I dont have anything saved on my memorystick duo. But when i try to download Tekken 2 it says that i dont have enough memory to...

Your memory stick may not be big enough. Games take up a lot of space, so you will probably need more than the 256mb card the system comes with.
Go on craigslist.com for cheap gigabyte memory cards.

I hope that helps!!!

you must have different playstations that have different formats when they were made. when you go to the store to buy a memory card, compare you ps system number with the number that matches the memory card on the package of the memory card.
