I need help trying to fix my laptop in which it is a VR201X-019EU MSI Megabook Pentium Dual-Core T2330. Ok the problem is that I wanted to go on it and so the laptop turned off with a red light showing only 5 minutes left. In then i turned on the laptop and everything the computer and battery were good but when i plugged in my power cord into the laptop power slot and then the laptop wouldnt be charging and so I tried a lot of things but i just dont know whats wrong with it. If you know the solution to this please tell me. Thank you for your help.

This may be due to a bad charge circuit. There might also be a bios update for your model. Check and see. One quick thing you can do is pull the battery. Hold the power button for about 30 seconds (without the power cord plugged in) and then put the battery back in and plug in the power cord. Have you tried it with the battery out? If it works there may be a function key combonation you can try but Im not familiar with the fkey layout on this model. Hope this helps... Dale

Does win7 work properly on vaio vgn-nr240e

I believe it should work fine. Sony's site has good driver support for windows 7, and directions on installing Windows 7 on that machine. So it should work without any issues.

It's the key below the backspace key (arrow pointing left). Or at the upper part of the right side shift key (arrow pointing up). It should be the key with an arrow pointing down left.

you probably need to replace the key pad, sometimes the zif xable comes loose but usually it the keyboard needing replacing
