Hi i have the solution to ur problem it's basically when ur windows file gets corrupted u will observe this sort of error message like what u have described a blue screen i recommend to install a fresh version of windows u can do this without losing any of ur critical data just follow these steps:
STEP 1:as soon as ur PC starts and u observe the logo on ur screen for e.x(INTEL,MERCURY) domething of this kind press F 8 immediately and u will see the next thing on ur screen is the PC asking to on ur system or load windows by providing some options select the option containing my msot recent settings that worked and ur windows will load surely without any blue screen error
STEP 2:as soon as ur windows will load try backing up ur critical data in a separate drive other than the drive containing ur windows files and folders and then install a fresh copy of windows or u can also repair ur previous windows using windows boot CD.
was this helpful to u if yes pls do rate my solution and thanks for visiting fixya.
NOTE: if the option u select do not work try other option specifying to load windows with all files and folders this will work sometimes but the above option works 99% perfect and if u face any problem just insert the windows boot CD and try repairing ur previous version of windows.
with warm regards-bonefirediv.

How to clean computer when has virus

Virus removal can be quite tough depending on which virus it is and how well it's established.

Disconnect your computer from the internet, power it up and keep pressing F8. It will show a black screen with white writing, select Start your computer in "Safe Mode" lots of white writing will come up on the screen, this is normal. It will eventually start up, but will look odd. This is also normal. In Safe Mode windows only starts programs needed to run the computer at is minimal amount. You will now be able to open up your anti virus and scan for viruses.

After, shut your computer down and start it up normally, run a scan again to make sure. then download Malware Bytes, install that and scan again.

If this doesn't work you may need to take it to a computer repair shop.

Hope it helps

My laptop screen is blue with horizantal lines. After I installed a graphics card driver everything went fine, but the next day the laptop's display started acting weird. So I turned off the laptop and...

The OS-loading screen is a stong indicator that thee is nothing wrog with your hardware, but it is a driver issue. You need to press F8 as your computer starts up and enter SAFE-MODE.
Windows 7
Using the F8 Method:
  1. Restart your computer.
  2. When the computer starts you will see your computer's hardware being listed. When you see this information start to gently tap the F8 key on your keyboard repeatedly until you are presented with the Windows 7 Advanced Boot Options screen as shown in the image below.

  3. Using the arrow keys, select the Safe Mode option you want.
  4. Then press the enter key on your keyboard to boot into Windows 7 Safe Mode.
  5. When Windows starts you will be at a typical logon screen. Logon to your computer and Windows 7 will enter Safe mode.
  6. Do whatever tasks you require, and when you are done, reboot to go back into normal mode.
In safe-mode remove & delete the drivers you installed. If you can, revert to your old driver set.

I have a eee pc 900hd and I keep getting the safe mode option

if a blue screen pops up with white writing theres something seriously wrong with your laptop a blue screen on a computer is the worst possible thing that could happen apart from the thing actually exploding and can be caused by a wide range of things, my suggestion would be to reinstall windows as it will basically give you brand new computer with no errors

Can't get to login window

Blue screens are normally critical errors. If you have loaded any new hardware to your computer lately or some software packages you will need to uninstall them.

Try starting windows in safe mode by pressing F8 continuoulsy until you hear a beep. This will start the computer in safe mode and everything will look big on the screen, ignore that for now. While you are in safe mode uninstall anything that you have loaded prior to this error. Be it software or hardware.

If you have not loaded anything recently then try restoring your computer to an earlier time when you know that it was working with now problems.

Once safe mode boots go to Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore and choose a date when you know that the computer was running okay. Once the restore has taken place the computer will reboot. If asked what mode you want to start in choose start windows normally.

Hopefully this will help you resolve your problem.
