how to download driver for Compaq PresarioC700 NO AUDIO DRIVER

Pls click here. Select exact model number, and thereafter your laptop's Operating System. Choose Device Driver. Download and install. Follow on screen instructions. In some instances drivers available in some OS are not available for another OS (Vista, XP). A work around is to determine the hardware chipset and search for an equivalent.

I understand that you are unable to install Audio drivers in your Notebook.

This model of Presario has an audio controller that supports the high definition audio. You need to have Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio installed on the computer before installing the audio driver.

Please do not click on the link. Copy and paste it in a new Internet Explorer window.

After installing UAA drivers restart the Notebook and then install Audio drivers.

After installing the drivers restart the Notebook to get the changes effect.
