When you purchased the Mcafee's did you get a fill download of dmsetup.exe? If you did, run this and it will ask for you user and password you set in Mcafee we site.
Also go back into www.mcafee.com and scroll on Home and Home Office tab. Then scroll on list of items onto My Account. Then a page will open up with login and follow instructions to get into your account. In your account will be the list of products that you wish to download if you have bought and aslo some trial downloads. Click on the download that you wish and follow all instructions. You will end up downloading the file DMsetup.exe. Make sure to remeber where you save it to. Most of the time it's on you DeskTop or in your MyDocuments folder. Run the file to download Mcafees to you system.

Uncheck the mcaffee stuff.

After the install is done you should be able to play video.

Remember to activate the player in your browser.

McAffe security protection. Compaq Presario XP

Hi,
The Windows Firewall is different from MCafee Security Centre. And if it has a X on it that means Ur MCafee Protection is disabled or May be expired.
To Check that, Just click on the MCafee Icon on the desktop or on the botton right hand corner, and check if its disabled or u needs to renew it.

Thank You,

It might be a virus attack, just check and scan with an antivirus program viz. Norton or Mcaffee. (Also updated them if not done yet)

As per an email regarding my issues// reply uninstall norton and try sending email// download the norton connectivity troublesoot tool// Norton is gone and I cannot reinstall it// please help me

norton is actualy not the best antivirus to use if you want one that wil not conflict with your computer controlls and have the same outcome( if not better ) use this http://www.eset.com. Norton, Mcaffee, and al the others will try to dominate the computer and utilize too much resourcess on your computer. Nod32 wil run totaly in the background and use hardly any memory or try to controll your computer.

Go to system properties and check what is the service pack you have. Download SP2 and then SP3 from www.microsoft.com/downloads . Once installed restart your computer and then try installing McAfee. It will get installed without any problem.

In my experience Norton can become flakey at times. Make sure your subscription to norton has not expired. Otherwise try un-installing norton and re-installing it. Part of it may have become corrupted.

We are having problems trying to crash our cumputer. The reason is children had downloaded some viruses and we have already did a back up of all good files needed. Now we need to crash it and reinstall...

Why in the world are you trying to crash your computer??? Just download a virus utility, such as Trend Micro or McAffee, and let it deal with the virus. If you are having problems logging in, restart your computer, and after it goes through the BIOS screens, before it brings up the screen that says "Windows XP" with the little progress bar, press F8. Select safe mode with Networking, wait for it to go though all of the MULTIDISK screens, and then download the virus utility. If this doesn't help, please report back and elaborate on everything. What computer you have, what you mean by "crash it" (reformat???), what drivers you need to reinstall... etc...

I need help connecting t o the internet

there are several issues that could lead not being able to connect to the internet. it can be a router problem if you are networked. it can be the ethernet card. it can be that you internet explorer is corrupted, it can be that you have an invalid ip address, it can be due to firewall. if you have a norton or mcaffee antivirus program the firewalls of this program can prevent you from getting online. or some updates from norton or mcaffee will knock off your internet connection.
try going to safemode with networking in the advance boot menu (normally if you press f8 when your computer is turned on) if you can go online in safemode with networking it means a program is causing you not to connect.
worst case scenario: REINSTALLATION OF WINDOWS
