Question about Philips 55PW9363 55" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

1 Answer

On/Off switch is not working properly.

When I turn the t.v. on, it will turn on, and just when the picture is about to appear, it turns itself off. Then, it will turn itself on again, and off, just before the picture appears. I am not able to control it with the on/off switch or any other controls. I must unplug the unit to make it stop.
Just before this started happening, the colors were way out of alignment. I converged them to the point where it looked pretty good, then the colors went way out again, and the on/off problem occurred.
I think the lamp may be out and the on/off switch needs to be replaced. Please advise on what the problem may be, and along with the diagnosis, how do I replace the lamp and switch.
Thanks, Todd.

Model Silverado Deluxe 1505. When I turn the switch on it gives power to the floor brushes but the vacuum motor isn't working.

If you have power to the "electric power nozzle" but nothing in the motor, it could be a wiring issue, especially if someone has been "servicing it" lately and didn't replace the motor wires properly.
If not, given the age of your Silverado, it may be the motor itself.
I am in the business of servicing and rebuilding them if it would be helpful. mickeymackmark1@yahoo.com. Good Luck! Mick

Sony KDS-60A3000 turns off by itself and red light flashes 3 times

the flashing light is more than likely the fault code. but those can be wrong bet even money that the door has a sensor to know if its open and the the bi-metallic switch is on the fritz look around the door see of the is a small pressure actuated switch the opens and closes with the door if so all else checks out 85 % chance that will be you problem

Hello, I try to help. But your questions not spesific.
Below are conditions lamp indicators that appear blinking and solutions (for samsung) :

1. If Timer and Lamp blinking --> Auto timer on/off was been set, picture will appear ~ 25 second.
2. If Timer and Standby/Temp blinking --> A cooling fan inside the set is not operating properly.
3. If Lamp and Standby/Temp blinking --> The lamp cover on the rear of the set is not installed properly.

I hope that solve your problem.
Thanks

As I turn on the camera, a message of "this card

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.
If that doesn't work, try another card.

Samsung tv turning off by itself

I had a similar problem where my 61" Samsung DLP was turning itself off very frequently I had resolved to try replacing the bulb. I called a local TV repair place to see if they had my buld in stock. The guy I spoke to actually told me how to fix my problem! There is a little blue switch behind the bulb access door. The inside of the door has a little piece that presses the switch down. The switch is supposed to work correctly weather the switch is in the up or down position but samsung forgot to take expansion from heat into account. If the switch is held in the upper position by the door and the plastic expands to a certain point, it triggers the set to shut off. This does not occur of the switch is held in the lower position. What you need to do is take the access door off and put it back on by sliding it into position from above. That will hold the switch in the down position, eliminating the problem. My set has not **** itself off ever since.
